"The Gift Of Life", How Many Pass It On?? Giving Blood

I use to give blood in college as extra credit (Boy did I ever need it) Until one day my teacher explained to me that one day a fellow teacher son was at the gas station as someone can thru shooting causing a drive by.. He was shoot many times, and rushed to the hospital, due to someone giving blood, his mother was able to say she loves him and say her good bye to him. He passed on, but she was very thankful to see him before. Had someone not did this act of kindness.. I was telling my mom this and she said my cousin was born, and weirdly his blood did not match his mothers, thankfully someone with the rare blood he needed, Saved his life as well... I am in the Gallons Club, I enjoy doing my part where I can.. Did you know too, if you are going to have surgery you can have blood stored for you, incase you need it and if not it will then be donated?? Giving Blood to me is truley as I heard a man on the radio say, A Gift Of Life"... If not for this reason, how about for my sisters, you get a Free Shirt, crackers, juice, and a Sticker... How nice...
