That special friend

This is a question for everybody
About 15 months ago I made a good friend who as stuck by me through the thickness of my problems and i the same for him. 3 months after i made friends with him, i kicked my partner out and found out that my partner left me in that much debt i was at risk for loosing my home my life everything to my name. My friend borrewed me the money to sort my debts out and clear my name after my partner left it in uins. Now that it as been a year we are really close and trust him greatly.
Now how do i repay him for is trust and sincerity. I know firstly to pay him back which is what im currently doing now, but on a friendship kind of basis im lacking. I support him in many ways but really want to show my appreciation.
Does any one have any ideas ?
Secondly as anyone ever been in that same situation?

Just try to be there for him whenever he needs you. There is really nothing you can do if he doesn't ask for anything just show him your willing to do the same thing he did for you when the time comes. Also try to be sensitive on his needs as a friend and then you can do something without him asking for it.

I would have to second this answer. There isn't anything you can do immediately. Time always tells you who your true friends are. Eventually, there will be a time when he's going to need a friend and when that opportunity arises... jump!

you are real lucky to have such a friend .don't ever hurt him or loose him.just be there for him (who knows he might need you some day)that would be the greatest gratitude.all the best
