If you find someone that you can love you will know it. There will be something about them that you just can't seem to do without. Every time you see them you will light up inside and you will begin to try to do everything you can think of to be as attractive to them as they are to you.
Love takes on all forms. We love our parents, grandparents, siblings, and even some of our cousins but it is not the kind of love you are talking about.
While the love of family is so important the love of a lover is so much more exciting.
The problem with that is we sometimes get so caught up in the way that person makes us feel we forget to see them for what they really are. If they are attracted to you it complicates it even more.
But love is what makes the world go round. With out any form of love we can survive but it would be a very lonely life.
One sure way to know you are not truly in love with someone would be if you have to ask this question about them. If you have to ask....your not.

Sorry for the late response here. I would say that if your not sure then try to consider what it would take to make you sure. If the feeling that this person just will not work for you then you are more than likely right.
Some people settle. Perhaps they finally found someone and even if it's not quite right they can live with it. Not true. If you have reservations even before you marry it will only get worse after you marry and really get to know them.
There are cases where the opposite is true. The more they get to really know them the more they find they love them. But the time for that is before marriage...not after.
My best to you.
