What your idea of a romantic date?

How do you consider a date romantic? And how would you know that it is really a date? You can bring a love one to a beautiful place, have a candle light dinner with a soothing background love song...but will she really consider this as a romantic date and feel so happy about it? How can you make such date worth remembering and memorable?
