Does your doctor explain the side effects before giving you medicene for pain?
And if you can take it with other things you have. Or do you read it yourself?

Mostly my dr. is good to tell me if I ask, but if i dont ask i usually read the acompnying paper work. or look it up on the internet, which usually results in my having to call his nurse and get something differnt because i have had a stroke and can no longer take that med. wouldnt you think him being the dr, he would know what i can and can not take any longer.

I think all doctors should explain and tell more about the meds they give others, not all do and they all should . Not everyone can read the papers, like my mom and dad could not read or write. as far as asking it is good to but some people will not ask or forget to . Dr. should know by your charts but have made mistakes by over looking. think they should spend more time with the patients discussing the meds and meaning how they help and what the side effects are.
