How do you plead? You know the judge very well and you can not cheat...

I plead guilty as charged - but I would also plead innocent, because my debt has been paid in full. Jesus took my sins and gave me His righteousness and I can stand before God my Father, as His adopted and beloved child, secure in my purchased redemption. However, I will never have to stand before God as a guilty sinner, because "there is therefore now NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" When I meet Him face to face, it will be the same as I meet Him now, through the blood of Christ and all that He purchased for me at Calvary.

I certainly do not take my salvation lightly. My first priority in life (together with my husband) is my relationship with my Father God through the Lord Jesus Christ. However, I know my salvation is nothing of myself. I could not save myself and I cannot keep myself saved. I rest in the finished work of Christ and in Him alone. He continues His work in me and keeps me in His will. My motto here on myLot and on the desk in front of me as I work: "So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do, but die"

You retain your purity even though you might make a mistake, but you lose it when you deliberately set out to harm another child of GOD... Don't take salvation lightly that is all I am saying... I have a great example of a fallen angel in my writings... Need I elaborate? It is sad to watch people lose their eternal soul for worldly gains... That I might gain on Earth is only a reflection of my heavenly gifts that I have obtained by being true to GOD through out all of my struggles... I can prove that as a fact... Love is the key...

I would prefer the motto, "So live that when you die there is nothing keeping you from eternal life."

Guilty. I throw myself on the mercy of the court. Ask to be forgiven. Pray for guidance and understanding, and try to improve and follow the teachings that have been handed down to us. Then go do community service as is my duty - John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Court appearances are daily.

There are a few things I would have to plead guilty to. Is there anybody on the planet (other than a newborn perhaps) who isn't guilty of something?

Well define your guilty and maybe I can help you find your answer... There are many of us that have made mistakes and asked to be forgiven, so are they still guilty? How about an innocent person accused of something that they didn't do? Just because you are accused does that make you guilty? Even if you are guilty of something should you be held responsible for something that you didn't do? Innocent means innocent... Am I helping at all? Hmmm? (Thinking)...

Ha, not going to trick a confession out of me. But I do believe that if there IS a God up there, somebody who is truly repentant, has made amends to the best of their ability and has taken steps not to repeat the offense will (eventually) be forgiven.

Hi the great, I am sorry i didnt understand your discussion , may be you should have elobrated it as what the God did and why Jesus was defending him and who is blaming god for the crimes he did? Is he being prosecuted for the sins he did to whole humanity or to a perticular person? may be i would plead if that is case because i donot think God needs Jesus to protect him and he would always be above blemish and he wont even need to be a plaintiff ( plain tiff is one who is accused) because he can never do anything wrong.

Damn. For a few seconds there I thought this was a very clever send-up of the OP, but alas, no, she simply didn't understand. For the record, a plaintiff is one making a complaint, it is not a defendant. Plaintiff complains, defendant defends against the complaint. Lash

So with GOD as the plaintiff bringing forth the querry are you a pure and holy soul how do you find your path to being cleansed and worthy of this great prize you seek? Jesus stands at the defense table trying to say if you do what I have taught you your life will be spared for eternity... But who is the Judge? Is there a Judge? Suppose you don't follow the instructions of Jesus are you then damned for all time? Even if we remove the mythical experience of Hell, Sheol and Hell have been defined as the absence of eternal life, how could a spirit lose life eternal? Is it possible? This is a universal teaching that we all accept, and we accept this teaching through the path of knowing and believing in a moral code of conduct, we all know what is right and wrong. The problem is what happens to people who know they have done wrong and they don't deal with their actions and abuses? There is one outcome that is certain in all of our minds,,, even the mind of a bully knows what the penalty for their sin is... I could go on but I'll stop right here for now... Don't forget to look at the first response of this discussion. Peace and Blessings, Sincerely it is nice to meet you your judge... Gary

Okay read through the responses, maybe the meaning will come clear now that the discussion has been expanded. If you still don't understand ask again... P.S. What is the prophecy of the Great White Buffalo? That might help you understand???

Another way to look at is we fell over a cliff (all thinking creatures because the ability to choose is included in rationality) and the Father throws us a rope, or rather builds the rope into the whole scenario (rope being Jesus, the Son) at which point shall we grab the rope, and how deep does the recue plan go? In other words, one of my big thoughts or rather question is, is it possible we underestimate God and his power and great plan of redemption?

I would say that the rope is there for those that can follow the law or the instructions as it is written... Do unto others as you would have done unto you, so if we violate someone we must repent that is what is written and what most of us would like to have done to us by those who have trespassed against us... From there I could build the rest of the rope that would reach all the way to the bottom for a person who would truly repent. How do you know if a person really doesn't choose to repent, they remain a bully hard headed and cold hearted... Love can not exist when a person has a heart of stone. What evil lurks in the hearts of people that lie, cheat, and steal? I have a lot to add, but the teachings from the Bible really indicate that you must need to only have a belief in Jesus, all the other stuff is dressing. If we believe that Jesus lived then we have our defense. For me I take Jesus with me, I don't keep Jesus confined in words of a book, I don't keep Jesus confined in a structure built on a foundation made by the hands of man... My GOD is outside... and Very Big...

Guilty. I am guilty of living my life the best I can. I am guilty of loving my children. We are our own judge.

As long as in loving your children you didn't put your husband off or out then I can't see any reason that you would be guilty, but as I look to the one whom I married??? Well let's say that if I am between her and GOD, she will be running far, far away... Lost she is, and lost she will be, in the end there will be nothing...

It couldn't happen because God and Jesus are one and the same. However, if it happened to be two different people, it would depend on if I did the deed or not as to what I'd plead and I'd leave my fate to the hands of court system to decide.

Court is now in session, You are being judged... GOD has just asked one simple question, how do you plead? Jesus is your defender, if you believe you are in good hands... Look in the mirror and explain it... All the answers to my question are there! Peace and Blessings, Sincerely, Gary

Okay as a result of your trying to stump the Buffalo or trying to Buffalo the Buffalo, yeah... I read the post below... Hahahahaaaheeheheee Here allow me the opportunity to copy and past this writing between me and another MyLotter to punctuate my point of this post... TheGreatWhiteBuffalo (1409) ranked 129 out of 2,227 in the bible 1 week ago The Universe is just fine, the heart and minds of people certainly are in need of reformatting. The problem begins with religious institutions. You have to see from the eyes of Jesus... Who married Jesus to the Church? Think about it? Also as you consider the Carbon foot print of businesses and individuals calculate the carbon foot print of the Church (The global corporation!) Mind boggling I'm sure. myLot reputation of 91/100. eileenleyva (720) ranked 796 out of 2,227 in the bible 1 week ago Yes, mind boggling and heartbreaking... that is why I see to it I am online with Jesus always. His face always looks reassuring. Rated! ! myLot reputation of 71/100. TheGreatWhiteBuffalo (1409) ranked 129 out of 2,227 in the bible 1 week ago Resting assured in the idea that Jesus is watching over even as we look into our own mirrors... The work of Jesus is there. myLot reputation of 91/100. eileenleyva (720) ranked 796 out of 2,227 in the bible 6 days ago Wow! That is really great. Thanks. I will always remember that. happy Rated! ! myLot reputation of 71/100. TheGreatWhiteBuffalo (1409) ranked 129 out of 2,227 in the bible 6 days ago That's right, we are supposed to see the face of Jesus in others, but do we ever see that face in our own reflection? It is a great point from where to begin... thumbup happy Now I will point the others up here to look at the first response to my discussion... Heeheheheeee... I'm such a brat...

I need no defense for there is no complaint from God!! Did anyone out there hear a complaint????? If God requests something from me, I am more than happy to comply for I know there will be great wisdom in the request with lots of neat stuff to learn. God is always free and welcome to knock on my door. I can't wait for my next great lesson!! I'm off to see if I can find an apple for the teacher.

Now as you eat your apple can you explain how so many people could be lead so far astray that they don't understand the simple message that is brought before all of us to see? Would you like to share your apple?
