Do dreams come true?

Last night, I've dreamt that my credit card, atm and ids were gone out of of my wallet when I checked out my locker. It's really freaking me out.
But they say that what happens in dreams is usually the opposite of what may happen.

There are prophetical dreams, but most aren´t. If you are someone who regularly tunes into what your intuition tells you, your dreams are a bit more likely to speak of a real upcoming event esp. if you have asked for an answer to anything in particular before going to sleep. Usually though this is very rare for most people and most dreams are anything from fantasy-products to things you have been thinking about and your subconscious mind is coming to terms with by expressing them through a dream.
