Do you use myLot's private messaging feature?

I use the Private Messages one heck of a lot! I use them with new users to advice them about the Guidelines and to answer their queries. If they post a discussion about something already in the FAQs it would possibly get deleted so I use them for that purpose. Then I use them for exchanging ideas about other sites and to send and receive referral links which are not allowed in discussions. If there is an interesing discussion that I know a friend might have missed I will use a PM to send them the link to it too. Then I use them just to chat with friends, passing the time of day and letting each other know that all is well, what we have been up to and personal stuff. There are no end of uses for Private Messages and when you have several friends then I'm sure you will make good use of them too

I use the service at times. I use it when I feel that the message does not need to be addressed to everyone at mylot. I use it to ask queries to mylot admin, too. I use it to send messages that are private to friends.

Yes, of course I use it. I find it’s a most wonderful way of getting to know a person better. Once you have befriended someone and want to ask a personal question, the PM section is just for you. Also if you don’t like something, if you want to say something personal, if you want to cry on somebody’s shoulder, the PM section is there for you. Its wonderfully private and only you and the other person is aware of its contents.

yes sometimes, but i won't really mention very personal messages around that feature because it still asks for your tags.. so by that, i guess that it's really not private.lol

I have no idea about this since i am also searching how to put my question and to get responses for my replies.

I used the private message only once, but my friend did not answer me, I was very sad. This function give me many interests, and I can talk about some private messages, it can enhance the friendship. It also can transfer advanced earning technology.

Yes, I do use Mylot's private messaging system. Not too much, just occasionally- may be once in 20 days or so . Regards

Hi :) I always respond to private messages when the feature is working, but I cannot recall ever initiating one. It's a nice way to communicate when the matter isn't really open for public discussion but is a question, say, you want to ask a specific person, so it's a nice feature to have available. karen

i think private message is had many function. off course if you wanna talk private with someone in mylot, you must send them message so nobody know what are you talking about with him/her. i think many people in many country in mylot. i see many indonesian like me and you in mylot. you can use PM for make you more closerly with another indonesian or anyone here. right?

Hi nooveggies Hmm, so you don't like vegetables (veggies)? Hehehe... I use it since the first day I was joined here. I think it is can be used to talk about privat thing, some of my friends ask me to join as his referrals by send me pm, to make deals in making money online discussion (you know, referral link is not allowed in discussion, but it is allowed in pm). Other user sent me about his discussion and ask me to commented there, so I came and made comment there las week.. So, I guess you can use it to gain comment to your discussion. Other friend asked me to see his blog. I sometimes ask about certain sites to users here. So, just use it to talk privately to your friends

I have never the mylot private messaging feature.I don't have any idea of it.Does it means that if we send private message to our mylotters gain also an earning here in mylot?

yes, i send messages to my friends in mylot, mostly i do send daily as possible i can. till now i have send only indian friends, i am not too much free with otherfriends, definitly i will try to get friendly to everyone. because my english is little bit bad. so, thankyou, have a nice day.

I have send some private messages havnt use it much here as discussion tool here is much popular than the private messages. What want to know and want to share they start a discussion so they dont need much of sending private messages.

I don't use the private message function often. Every now and then I will use it to ask a question when for example I have a question about a task someone posted. I wouldn't open a discussion on that topic as there is really only one person I need a reply from. Also, if I want to tell someone on mylot something more personal I would pm them aswell. It hardly ever happens but there are a few people that I really like and have known for a longer period of time, so it might occur.

I've used the private messages on mylot...well, not often but sometimes. I use it when I want to disuss or talk to a particular mylot friend about something personal which I don't want everyone to know about. Or sometimes ask a mylot friend to check out the discussions of another mylotter. I've never used it to arrange appointments.

I don't use this feature much but once in a while. Many of my friends are not active now and I am hesitant to delete them too, so the messaging doesn't hold much value

I use private messaging feature of Mylot. I mainly use it to congratulate my friends if I see their discussions in top discussions of if they get a good number of responses. I rarely share referrals. I hate it when people send me referral liks without asking my permission. Sometimes people give descriptions about certain websites and send me referral links only if I am interested.

hi nooveggies, yes I use the pm's quite a lot. Soemtimes it's just to check in with friends on here but there is one friend who I back and forth with whenever we're on at the same time and we alert each other when we are putting discussions up and send messages about other discussions or things people have said which we can go in and comment on. It's fun when it works like that.

So far I have used it three or four time to send my referral links UPON the request from the other members...I don't like to use it and of course, I will not send any PM or even SMS to any one , in any sites, in most of the cases..I am using this only in unavoidable situations. I don't know the reason for my dislike on the personal messages...But it seem, many of the mylot members are making use of this feature well.. I used to get three or four referral links from the members..most of the are sending the links of the sites, in which we have registered already...
