I've been hearing a lot of successful stories from people, and i happen to read some of it as well. Most of these people are successful not because they were able to finish a degree but because they are determined and hardworking... Hmmmmm, turns out that we don't need education that much, we might just need it to mold us on how to be able to do things and to know how all the thing goes..
Here's my question to you all... What do you think??
Do we need education to have success OR we need not to worry about education that much since we have determination and all we need is hardworking?
what do you think?? ^_^

Well we can't deny that's it's important. However, personally, I don't think it's a necessity for all mankind. You can survive life even without education. Did you know that almost 80% of the richest men didn't finished college. The richest man in the world, which is Bill Gates, is a college drop-out. But look at him now!?!

Yes, lots of rich people are not educated, but take note, most of these educated people depended on educated employees to build their empire.

Hi! That's a very good question. There are people who have the motivation to make a career for themselves without school, and then there are those who must have school to get them on their feet. Of course, I know a few motivated people who still had to go to school to get into the career field of their choice, but for the most part, it's cut and dry.
My parents basically told me in high school that I would be directly going to college. I knew I didn't want to go and had nothing to go for, but they were paying for it since it was their idea, and I went. I went for two years and basically told them when I dropped out, "That is why I didn't want to go to college. My life was put on hold, and now you have less money." It was useless, much like high school was. I already had a growing real estate business that I had formed at fifteen, and college did nothing beneficial for me. It only diverted my attention from forming my career for two years.
There are many people who say a college degree is a must. This is ridiculous. If I hadn't been motivated enough in my teens, I wouldn't be making as much money as I do now, and maybe college would have been beneficial. Not one person in my family has gone to college and graduated; yet my dad is extremely successful (he also works real estate) and makes well over six figures per year.
There are some things you must go to college for. For example, I thought heavily into being an astrophysicist, which requires at least eight years of college. But then I'd be paying back student loans well into my thirties and forties, even with the high salary. College is hardly ever worth it. Certificate programs sometimes are. Motivation is ALWAYS beneficial.

Oh god, I really dig your story. Personally, I was thinking of dropping-out of college and concentrate on music and being a webpreneur. But I think my parents would kill me if I quit. To be honest, they're the only reason why I'm going to school. Apart from that, I feel like I'm torturing myself whenever I go to that freaking building. I'm sick of the process of finishing education.

Parents tend to have the mentality that college is best for their kids because it seems to have been best for everyone else's kids. I feel for you in your situation...I felt the same way. I'd see the campus and have to nearly drag my feet to get to my first building. Not to mention I felt like a failure when I dropped out, although it had never been my intention to go. I could have been graduating with a bachelor's in dietetics this upcoming spring. I have the ability to get straight A's and I have the ability to make a career out of that. The kicker is: I don't want to. My heart was never into it because it hadn't been my idea, I had to pick a major at the last minute, and I simply wasn't paying for it. Now if I ever did want to go to college, I'd have to work around the mediocre grades I have on my record because I was forced to go the first time.
Good luck to you. I'm sure you know what your options are and I wish you the best with them.

Sadly, in this day and age, we need education.
Unless you are one of those rare special people, you really cannot amount to much or get much without an education. Education is what makes most societies.

Yes, education is indeed important for society. You could make money without being educated, but we still need educated people to have progress.

Why do people always think that education is only important to earn money? Education is much more than that. It is a must for society because without it, where would our society be? I know that there are lots of bad things caused by "educated people", such as pollution and all sorts of stuff, but we could fight these also with education. I think the reason why some educated people do bad things is because their education is incomplete. Education is continuous and should not stop when you already have a degree. Education is a lifetime process.

Education has lots of benefits for humanity. It should not be viewed just as a means of getting a good career. All the breakthroughs in science wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for education. Our societies owe a lot to education whether we want to admit it or not.

I feel knowledge is very important in any ones life to get success. This could be possible by experience only. But our education gives the procedure to gain this knowledge in proper way and to serve the same successfully.
Education gives us an idea on how to utilize our source of knowledge to improve in proper ways.. I am educated with Masters and doing job and running blogs and may things.. All have given wonderful experience to me.

Education is important but having education sometimes doesn't makes us rich or successful. There are people that are successful without having education. I think the ability and the skills of the person are much more important to be successful in life next to education. Sometimes you going admire them than to the intelligent person out there because they learn from their experiences in their life.

You need education, period. If you compare the number of successful persons based on their educational attainment chances are you'll find more successful people who had education that those who have not. As the saying goes "knowledge is power". Cheers!

Of course we need education, maybe not necesarilly for us to abtain a very well paid job,but to have a knowledge.U want to find yourself talking to someone and not to have an answer or to not know how to say?I would like for my children to finish a good school,to go to college and even if they don't get hired on their domaine,to be smart and be able to talk anything with them.School is very needed,to obtain an education, beside the one u get from home, even if we have a lot of examples of people without any school, but with a lot of money..that is life!

Hi! Education is very important because it is the structures for our future. How can we have knowledge of something else if we don't educate ourself. Even though it is a different type of education but still we can get learnings on it, but i think not only education can help us for our future but also its a person's choice on how to find a way to get and have a nice future. The concept of it is EDUCATION ---- Learning(we can get idea and knowledge through education in any type), not only education in school that i am referring but in any type that we can describe Education.

Yes,we need it.Education is very important to both your personal and professional life, in a number of significant ways!Depending on the level of success you’re seeking to achieve, the level of education may be relative. English and language skills will help you to communicate your ideas more clearly. Communication skills are essential in any role – whether you’re dealing with co-workers, patients, customers, or supervisors, you will need to effectively convey your plans, ideas, goals, and such.Although calculators and computers are readily accessible, you still need to learn how to do basic computations and calculations on paper or in your head. If you are calculating dosages, counting surgical supplies, or tallying sales, math skills are imperative for a career, and for life. Cooking, shopping, driving, and many other everyday activities require math skills as well, regardless of your career choice.the word LEARN contains the word EARN? Perhaps that is because the higher level of education you achieve, the higher level of income you are likely to command as well. For example, consider the following health careers and the educational requirements as they relate to annual income

Depends totally on the infrastructure and opportunities that your countries offer. I must say that I am surprised at the way people in developed countries have so much options open to earn a decent pay without a proper education or any real skills. College education and further studies seems quite expensive there and just another option for a good-paying job. However, in India, though higher education is no less expensive, the opportunities are just not there. Jobs like cooks or shop assistants or petrol-pump attendants or truck drivers…etc would fetch you peanuts. We have no option to earn a good income if we are not minimum college graduates. Vocational institutes are there for people with less education but with skills and they just manage to earn enough for existence…not good pay at all. So for us, the better the education the brighter the chances are for a good paying job.

Dear friend,
I hope education is must and it helps to go further. Moreover proper use of education for positive outcome is much better. Some get better without education but they are mostly good in practical work than theoretical knowledge. It is another talent of human to get well in life without education. But education helps one to be go better further up.

I think that getting an education is quite important. I left school with no qualifications whatsoever and I didn't get very far as a result. I do have regrets! However, I have been making amends now and I have been taking various IT courses and I have passed them all with flying colours and I'm so pleased with myself. Education isn't everything though, I think that persistance and determination also counts. If you are prepared to work hard and achieve something then there shouldn't really be anything stopping you but you! It's nice to have qualifications and so forth as they may help you to get an interview perhaps and then you can really start selling yourself. Andrew
