The Reds brought a run of four straight defeats to an end with a dominant win against the Red Devils.leaving the boss delighted by his team's show of character in what was his 200th league match in charge.The Reds finally made the breakthrough courtesy of a sublime strike from the returning Fernando Torres in second half.

Did i read somewhere that Liverpool can't afford to buy Benitez out of his contract? Seems to sack him would be more trouble than it's worth.
Anywho, it has been a diabolical start to the season from Liverpool, though a win over Man U is a good way to return to winning form.

Suck,the boss of liverpool,I can't believe Benitez out of his contract,the unique guy who knew liverpool totally at least now, he can bring us to the location where we should be.

Liverpool has great players, and it is not surprising that they won against Man Utd. Man Utd on the other hand, consist of players who are still developing. That is especially apparent in the midfield. Then there is Berbatov, who is overpriced and do not sync with the whole squad. Owen should have started. Man Utd has some soul searching to do. With such a squad, they can't compete in the highest level.
Fortunately, they can look forward to the return of Owen Hargreave. I think his return will be the turning point of United. I hope he returns soon.

It was a brilliant win don't get me wrong, but Liverpool fans should be cautious and not get too carried away by this win. The scousers did win against United last year remember. Problems run deep in the football club, and before that is resolved, don't expect Liverpool to be challenging for trophies. Having said that congrats on a well deserved win.

As a Manutd fan, I thought Liverpool simply dominated us, especially in Midfield. The likes of Carricks and Scholes weren't up to the pressure of Mascherano and Lucas. Berb's and Rooney didn't combine leaving all the hope to Valencia and Giggs. Too bad Valencia's crossbar shot didn't go in otherswise I'm sure they'd be a different outcome.
