It doesn't matter the Liverpool fans respect him or not. Michael Owen is a proffesional. He'll give the best for Man. United.
Man. United lost the last match. But in the next derby, they'll beat Liverpool and Owen will score the winning goal.
Glory glory Man. United...!!!

Fans will be fans, they will react spontaneously. But Liverpool fans should not forget that Owen has 3 options out of Newcastle United. Hull, Stoke or Manchester United. It is an obvious option for Owen. If Liverpool offer a contract for him, no doubt Owen will fly over to Anfield straight away.

Do you remember the reception Ince got when he arrived with Liverpool?
Owen was a great Liverpool player but of course that will be forgotten when he plays for the hated rivals. Someone like Robbie Fowler or Steven Gerrard would never dream of it, just as Giggs or Gary Neville would never do it either.
