What Do You Think About Illegal Downloading?

Whats your opinion on illegally downloading music and movies? doyou think that because sometimes you have so much music you wanna buy that it would just be too expensive? or do you think that, with as much money as it cost to get a CD produced, that you should pay for it. Do you think thta downloading a movie is okay? What about the people who worked so hard to make the movie a good movie? Do you think that the people in the music and movie industry deserve the money but illegally download anyway just to save money?

There's no safe way to download anything illegally. If they want to find you, they can. A lot of people have found themselves going to court because the record company decided to sue them. You could end up with criminal charges, too.
I wouldn't download music or movies illegally. It simply isn't worth the risk. Get cable or buy the CD.

I dont download movies because that is a lot riskier, but i do download music eben though if they really wanted to they could find me. I think the risk is minimal because i have only downloaded about 2,000 songs when some people download over 10,000.

I remember a guy in a chat room boasting of having 4 40gig hard drives full of downloaded music. There are a lot of people who are probably downloading more than you do, but when they want to make an example of someone, I am not sure they go after the biggest offenders.

I don't really download illegally anymore because I want to support what I like, I downloaded like two or three movies a long time ago, but I've since deleted them off my computer. I do try to support my favorite bands though, because if you made it and you're trying to sell it, and a lot of people like it, you deserve to get paid for it.
