Do you pay the bill there and then, ignore it and hope it will go away,if you can not afford it do you ring the people who have sent you the bill or what do you do?

I pay my bills immediately. If I cannot afford something, I do not contract for it. I am not like those people who fill their shopping cart up with groceries and then after it is all rung up they find they do not have enough money to pay. If I am short on funds I go without or at least add up the prices as I go along to make sure I am within budget. Also before spending anything on myself, I put away some money each month for unexpected expenses down the road.

Hi dear! As soon as receive any bill for electricity, mobile, water, gas and insurance etc., I try to pay it as soon as possible. I do not feel like to keep it pending till the last date. Sometimes, it may so happen that we may get busy during the last day and may not be able to pay the bill on-time and consequently this will lead to payment of penalty. I do not want to pay the penalty for my lethargy and wish to dispose of the matters, as quickly as possible.

As soon as I received a bill I look for its due date and then I set my cellphone alarm on the due date and I will pay it on exact day. I am a good payer and very responsible one. I make sure I have a money to pay for those bills. I never experienced ringing the one who sent me the bills and tell them I can't pay on time. Hopefully I continue doing that.

I usually just make sure I have enough money to cover what I need to. I think next month is going to be a bit tight for me financially because I won't be getting a big check from my new job until the end of he month. In fact, this month I left one bill unpaid because it wasn't a big deal to me, but I will probably end up having to pay a late charge which is not cool. It can't really be helped though. I should have some money by the end of next month that will help me be able to pay everything.

well I pay bills once a month, so manage my money for it to be available for my scheduled time for paying bills. So I find that keeping a book for all my bills and due dates helps me keep track of all I am paying. I do also bill pay through my bank

Bills...bills...bills...I don't want to worry much about bills, so what I usually do, I pay it before it's due date. Good thing, they don't come at the same time, they are not due at the same day. I have the time to prepare for each bill. Well, I have to pay each bill because I don't want the balance to overdue or accumulate because basically there are charges when there is delay in payment or when it is long overdue.

I have my utility bills set up for automated payment, so I don't worry about those. I usuallly pay my store credit bill within a day of receiving it (it's never very much).

My husband and I don't pay bills, and my sprint bill when I had a cellphone I always paid online, so while I got the paper statment for it, I never really needed it. In fact, it didn't even go to the address I was staying at the time. I am sure that we'll (my husband and I) come across times when we either can't pay a bill right then, or even times that we can, and in those instances we'll either call to pay for it, write a check and send it out, or just call and tell them that we can't pay the bill OR just wait for them to call.

I wish I could ignore bills and wish them away but as we all know that is not quite the answer! We usually cannot afford to pay our bills when they arrive! (LOL) We have a credit card and I use internet banking and as soon as the bill arrives in the post I schedule it to be paid by the due date and once a month we pay the credit card debt. It’s a system that has worked well for us to spread the bills out because sometimes there is a lot all at once and that can be just a tad overwhelming!

As soon as the monthly bills start coming in i get them paid as soon as possible. They are not going to go away unless you pay them. If we are going to be late with payment i usually try to call them with a explanation.

We have our bills due on the same day of the month so we will have the money to pay our bills on time. Did you know that by not paying your bills on time that can cause you to have bad credit? Some people don't know that. We have always paid our bills as they come due. I wouldn't want to sell someone something and have to worry when I was going to be paid for my services. That is only natural for people to want their money on time.

The first two things that I usually do when I receive a bill are check the date that the bill is do, and check the full amount of the bill. If the bill is itemized, then I will go down and make sure that all of the charges are accurate. Next, I have to figure out how I am going to get the money and from what source it needs to come from. Then I have to remember to pay the bill, so I try to put it somewhere that I will see it. A lot of times I just put it in my check book. If I am afraid that I will forget it, I may put it right on my printer or somewhere in front of my face on my desk. I will also write the due date on the back side of the envelope. That way if I forget when it is due, then I can just look and the envelope and know approximately when I need to mail the payment or go online and make payment if possible.

Hello jj. Once a month we get our bills for water and electricity. We usually pay for the bills within the time we are supposed to. We don't delay paying for them, otherwise we will have to pay for some penalty.

I pay my bills as early as I possibly can after receiving them. Sometimes if the bill is fairly large and I can not afford to pay it all at once, I will pay a portion of it as soon as possible, and then make another payment on it when I get some more money and so on until it is paid off. I do not think it would make any sense to just ignore it and hope it goes away, lol.

Normally I pay the bills immediately. Because it is pretty simple that they will never go away. I have to pay for it, and if it is paid in time I do not need to pay the fine added to it. So it becomes the most important task to pay it whenever I receive them.
