.. for me it would be.
1- Lipgloss: Coz I like the natural shine and don't use lipstick as such.
2- Eyeliner: I don't use it everytime I go out. But when I am in the mood, it sure makes me feel good!
3- Concealer: Coz we all get a few spots here and there, and they need to be taken care of.
What about you? If I look in your hand-bag today, what 3 beauty products would I find without a doubt? It could be a deo, perfume, lip stick.. anything goes..

Hi There!
This is a very nice discussion. For those who love to make up, I am sure they are so hard to answer this discussion as they might need more than 3 favorite beauty products with them . But not for me, I am not so into make up , maybe I am too lazy! LOl.
Some of my friends will carry a full bag of cosmetics and other beauty product with them when ever they go shopping, working and traveling.Once they go into the ladies, they will be busy make up and touch up.
For me, I don't like to make up unless I go out to meet some important friends or go for functions.
Okay to answer the question in this discussion, 3 things I must have with me is :
1. lipstick so i don't like too pale
2. foundation so I will look better
3. blush to look better too.
I don't go for any particular brand of beauty product, I am now using SK2 blush and foundation. For lips gloss, I am using Channel brand, is also a birthday present from my dear friend.

I'm just a simple girl and I don't use make-up regularly so it would be, first, face powder to make my face fresh. Second is lip balm or lipstick so that my lips wouldn't be pale and last is comb but if you're going to check my bag you'll see a lot of beauty products like perfume, hair leave-on, mascara, curlash and many more but the main 3 products that must be in my bag always are face powder, lip balm, and comb. :)

My most important thing is moisturizer - I HATE my skin feeling dry or tight.
After that, my make up essentials are pretty much the same as yours! Concealer (to create an even canvas to work with!) - eyeliner, to make me look awake, and lipstick or lip gloss. As I am unemployed and poor at the moment I often use lipstick as blusher, toned down with moisturizer, and also mix it to make it lighter on the lips, as I like a bit of color but this makes it more natural looking. I don't like the feel of thicker lippy.
Amazing how creative us women are!

The three products I am wearing everyday are:
1. Sunblock (face & body) - because according to dermatologists, this is the basic skin care we should wear to avoid the rapid process of premature aging.
2. Pressed Powder - I have an oily face so the last thing to happen is to have a greasy face.hehhee
3. Lip gloss - I love the natural glow and radiant of a lip gloss, it makes me look young and simple too.

Oh the pressed powder is a heaven sent for people who have oily skin. I used to have oily skin during my teens. It really does suck. I mean, it is nice to have glowing skin, but not skin that shines because of the oil.
I love lip gloss too. The natural glow is so much better than excess color. Thanks for your response!

Dear Cbee,
A beauty topic that every lady myLotter should response
I too choose lip gloss / lip stick, eyeliner and lipliner.
I chose lipliner as it can give a great lip contour and shape
it the way I want it. With lipliner, our lipgloss/lipstick can
last longer on the lip. Eyeliner will give a define eyes that
will captivates
All the best and 'when we look good, we fell good!'

Hi Cbee and Iriene,
I think I need to buy a lipliner since you say it is good. I am sure with the lip liner it can shape the way I want. For eyeliner, I don't think it is easy to apply. So I don't think to get one for myself. It is christmas season now and I wish to buy a cosmetic or skin care set for myself.

I don't have either lip liner or eyeliner. If you put lip liner, do you still need to put lip gloss or lipstick? Since I stay at home most of the time, I hardly make up now. When I go out with my 2 small kids, I too don't get to make up as they like me to carry them and they like to touch my face .

Dear Vingyan,
Yes, you need to cover the lip liner with either lip gloss
or lipsticks. Lip liner shape your lip to look great and
more define. It also helps to keep your lipstick on longer.
Yes, it is advisable not to put heavy make up all the time as
our skin need to breath.
Thanks and happy myLotting :)

hi cbeee3,
The three beauty products that I can't live without are;
face powder because it makes my face clean and fresh. It also hides impurities in my face as well as it removes excess oil of my skin.
blush on or cheek blusher I've been using it since high school and it gives glow into my face and it also contour the shape of my face. I love having a rosy cheeks..hahaha
lipgloss i like it pink but not really striking. I love to wear lip gloss because its like an accent to your face and it also make your lips soft and shiny.
Happy Lotting!

As for me they would be:
1. My eyebrow definer. I can't live without it. My eyebrows are naturally thin, so like it or not, I have to use that tool.
2. Moisturiser with SPF. I live in a tropical country so I have to moisturise my skin and protect it from sun ray.
3. Cocoa butter body butter. I love The Body Shop one! It makes my skin silky smooth and due to pregnancy, I use it to prevent stretchmarks as well.

I really do like The Body Shop, too. The only problem is, we don't have a Body Shop here in Jasper. We have the Body Shop that sells clothes but not the one that sells cosmetics. The nearest one is at the Galleria, which is a mall over near Birmingham, and that's an hour drive from here. It's the only Body Shop in the southeast, too. I used to go over there whenever I got a chance but since gas went up and I've had so much car trouble and money has been really tight, I haven't been over there in a long time. I really do wish that there was a Body Shop closer to where I live, though. Kathy.

I only use 2:
1.Maxipeel Sunblock-to protect my skin from harmful uv rays.
2.Maybelline pure mineral foundation-it makes my skin glow and healthy looking. It looks natural on skin as if you are not wearing makeup at all thats why i really love it

That is nice. It is good to know that you are not into too many cosmetics. I believe that with age, excess use of cosmetics certainly does damage the skin.
Have you tried any other mineral foundations? I was wondering if Maybelline is better than most out there in the market.
Thanks for your response and happy mylotting!

cheee3 for me here in Ca where its so dry, the first must have is a good skin lotion, I use Sauve vanilla and lavender which keep my elderly skin looking good, 2 lipstick to brighten up my face and show off a smile, and 3. eye shadow to make my blue green eyes stand out better against my white hair. I maybe elderly but I do care how I love. When I love good, I feel good and more self confident. could I add one more, concealer to hide any odd spots on my face.there 'my four most important ones.

3 important beauty products for me:
1. make-up remover - I can't sleep with all the gunk and dust in my face.it helps my skin to breather from all of those stuff.
2. facial wash - a good facial wash can keep my skin smooth.
3. moisturizer - I don't like dry skin.

I have long given up prettifying but I suppose the basic would mean foundation or concealer, powder and lipstick. That about completes a face even in a social gathering.
