sometimes my wife buys something i dont understand why

I think perhaps your wife is stressed? Or is she trying to seek your attention? If I'm wrong, then perhaps she has a tiny addiction to shopping. Have you talked it out with her; perhaps she doesn't realize it..

my husband sounds like your wife . he buys polo shirts then the moment he gets enough money to buy clothes he buys again forgetting or choosing not to use the old ones. sometimes he says it's the color he doesn't have. sometimes he says the shirt is deformed already. i say why doesn't he buy shirts in colors that would work out for him and stick to brands we know has quality ?

Well, I have about 4 pair of reading glasses and I'll tell you why. I have a pair that I leave at my work. I really struggle with small print without them and I have forgotten them at home before....makes for a pretty rough nite when I don't have them. I have a spare pair that I leave by my computer ...just in case the ones I normally wear get broken, left somewhere, lost etc. Then I have a 4th pair that I just kind of liked. They are different from what I normally would wear but once in a while I wear them just for a change. Not sure if that is your wife's reasons but it could be. You should ask her.

Pal! Since your wife is a woman, and it is quite common you don't understand her side of reason of the need to have 5 reading glasses; after all , you are a man. Having said that, i am confused with her behavior too and also many others women buying habit in our society, think of it from the bright side, it is mainly because both sexes are wired differently inside their brain circuits that gave rise to this illogical/incapable understanding of a man over the action of a woman.

It is quite normal for your wife to buy many reading glasses if she has a passion for it. I have two reading glasses and I am planning to buy the third one because I am fond of specs and I don't have any eye problem to wear a power glass. I also buy lots of foot wears, purses, and handbags. I have two purses and a handbag just sitting at my home which I have never used. I think it is fine for her to buy that if she earns. I mean unless she makes you spend for it. Most of the women are fond of purses, handbags, and footwears.

I like to buy stuff too...lol..Some women have an obsession with certain things. My daughter loves shoes..I like purses..and my little one has yet to develop anything yet although I do see a shoe thing starting with her..lol. There are just certain things that we want a variety of I guess.

A lot of people have compoltions on things. My husband is into flashlights. He is always needing one more. Oh well, we just have to love them as they are, as we are not perfect either.

honestly coming from a woman, i dont think you will ever be able to understand why we do some of the things we do. Just like my husband, i am always buying purses and i havent even begun to wear half of them. he asked me why do i buy purses and i simply replied the same reason you buy jordans that you barely wear. Just to have them when it is time to wear them. And sometimes i will admit that i will only want something just because another female has it. lol

Oh, just like me.Woman,woman,woman!!!lol!Most of us love shopping and if we can see something we like we would really love to have it.We have this hobby on collecting something that we love.I do collect watches.I don't know but whenever i see watches i really tempted to buy the one i like.I dont really go for the expensive ones but for the affordable.My daughter loves shoes also.She got more than 10 maybe.Its not that how she wears them but she just love looking at them.Although shes been using them too for school.SO i could completely understand your wife.

well maybe because she likes to collect those different design and color of glasses so i think it is her hobbies to collect what she likes.but she is becoming impulsive buyer in due time instead of saving money or but that really priorities the needs of the families.so i think it is not also right.but if you are wealthy i think it just fine as long she has the money to buy what she wants.

I think it is just the hobby of your wife to collect different reading glasses. In fact people always have some special interest that other people may find hard understand just like your wife. Since the reading glasses do not cost too much, you do not have to care about it too much. If you really want to know why your wife wants to do this, just talk with her and ask for real reasons. Communications can help understanding between people a lot.

Yeah, some woman are hard to understand. My wife use to buy fancy earings which she doesn't used at all. She has lots of them in her jewelry box but never use it even once. I tried to ask her whats the use of buying something but never use. Never had a convincing answer.

I am a lady, and maybe she has extra just incase one breaks or a child gets a hold of one see women like to have alot of something because if something happens they always have extra and about the shoes I have alot of sandels I like sandels and there is alot of cute sandels out there. lol! Also maybe she likes to have them in different colors a different color for everyday. lol!

i think women just like to buy things because i am a woman and every woman loves to shop i dont know why but a woman thing

Hi se7, MY hubby loves to buy pieces for the computer and for tv, he has a lot in the house and I know some will still work but he loves to replace it whenever he likes too....

hi, it is an interesting discussion. most men would be puzzled about their partner's shoping and buying. my boyfriend sometimes be angry about what i have bought, such as i would buy a jacket that silimar to what i have bought yesterday. women tend to like shopping. when i am shopping, i am very happy, if i buy something i like it very much, i would excited.

Hi,se7enthbird: i'm a lady and i can totally understand your wife.As everyone's known,woman loves shopping.it's very differnent to man.Man will only go shopping when they have to buy something for their daily life,while shopping is the nature of the woman. woman will buy the stuff for many reasons:it's so pretty;it's so lovely;it's so cheap and so on.but there may be no reason for necessary--the most important one. they will enjoy the happiness of shopping.once they own this stuff,they will not like it that much.that's sort of wasting money,but just can't help doing that. try to advise your wife when she wants to buy something unnecessary.woman is not that wise when they go shopping.:)

Hi friend I am a woman too and I feel all ladies like to shop.If they have dozens of clothes ,they will not hesitate to buy one more ,if they find the best bargain. But I like to add too sometimes these addiction can make hole in the pocket.If you think your budget is getting unbalanced,you can talk to her and make a solution for it!
