Spanish wine Vs Italian wine.. What do you prefer?

Hello MyLotters, A question I've been asking many of my friends.. Some of them are staunch supporters of Spanish wine while some are madly in love with Italian ones. What would you prefer and how would you combine your wine with your meal. Personally I've had a taste of the Spanish Catalunya and fell in love with it.. Italian wines are not as sweet as spanish ones i feel.. not sure though Cheers!! Karen
