After a recent conversation with a friend of mine, (I will spare you the conversation details) but the subject of angles and demons came up. I realize this is a popular movie right now...I haven't seen it and my quesitons has nothing to do with it.
But....why is it that soooo many people are quick to believe in angels. An angelic heavenly being. A source of good and help. A protector. Our "guardian".
Then at the mention of the word "demon", immediately the reaction is entirely the opposite. "They don't exist". "Demons aren't real". Etc..
In retrospect demons are mearly the opposite, they are "evil" Or "fallen" angels..
This is going to be interesting!

Hi Brooke~!
Wow, as stated above, there are many people just like the one you described in your friend out there, ready to believe in angels, but denying the presence of evil or evil spirits...that only means one thing. The evil spirits are doing a good job at convincing people that they don't exist...and we humans, with our diminished sensual capabilities fall into the gullible nature that allows us to blindly follow lies blown in front of our faces...for if there is no evil, why must we try to be good? I have heard this movement powerfully taking force across the country, and the world as well, no doubt.
Not only do I believe in demons, but I know they exist, as the evil on this earth is too great to come from the harboring of evil in human hearts. The influencing has to come from somewhere...someone...
Here's another question to ask...what do the demons believe in? Well, they most certainly believe in God, because Scripture tells us they do, and they live in constant fear of His very existance. Demons know full well that God's very whisper can unmake them as easily as they were spoken into creation. Their hatred for humans was best described in a vision given to a man whom God allowed to spend a few agonizing minutes in hades (not the burning lake of fire in hell), where God explained why demons hate us so much. When the demons sinned, they became, obviously, fallen, and stripped of their beauty. Humans, however, are still to this very day, made in God's image. The sins of hate and malice are aimed straight at humanity due to our created image. Unfortunately, demons have been around for eternity, and therefore think with eternity as a goal for humanity. This is why you don't see them wasting their time making mankind miserable, but instead, they have figured out that if they can sway us from salvation, they will achieve an even greater infliction on man that they can administer here on earth, as they torment us in hell for eternity.
I most certainly believe in demons. Thankfully, with a little bit of thought, prayer, and insight, it's not too difficult to see straight into and through their twisted agenda.
Stay in the Word...stay in the heart of God...give no foothold to the enemy, and eternal victory and life is yours....and those aren't just my words, but the words of my brother JESUS!
Have a great day, and remember...the end is near, and the dark ones are grasping at straws here...they know that THEIR end is near, so desperation is becoming increasingly evident. Pray for wisdom. And when you pray, do not doubt, but believe...
