Greetings Vicky77!
I used Nod32 Anti Virus 2.70.39. It is an old version but powerful as the new version of Nod32 today and what I liked most...? it is not too heavy on memory.

Hi Vicky. Welcome to MyLot :))
Some people swear by the free anti-virus programs online, but I've never had any good luck with those.
My two favorite are McAfee and Norton. You have to pay for them, but they offer a very worthwhile protection to files on your computer, as well as for when you are online, and not just from viruses, but other damaging programs. You can check out either one or both, or download them from their main websites.
Best wishes,
Karen
