I can only imagine Ronaldo, who in this world has the pace, the dribble, the skills, the flair, the freekicks, the headers, and the physique of this Ballon'dor player. He absolutely is formidable when on form. Only Kaka at his peak was close. Messi does have better understnading of the game though but he doesn't have the shot/power/strength of Ronaldo but think Ronaldo is a more rounding attacker which can play every position if asked.

because he is playing against EPL defenders. Most EPL defenders play dirty too. hes just getting tired of getting tackle so harshly so often, that leads to diving when someone tackle him. however when he went to real madrid he can dribble much better because opponent defender is much weaker.

To be fair, some tackles that were fouled against him were horrible and sometimes he doesn't get the foul. If you've been watching CR7 for six years and never missed one of his matches like I did, you wouldn't be saying that. I'm sure his dives were hyped by the media, but to be fair if he didn't dodge them I dont' think he'd still be playing now as most of the fouls were either a sliding tackle or just a horrendus one.

But is major downfall is that he trips over the thinest pieces of grass with no-one within 10yards of him,but somehow still gets a freekick.

I think rooney, arshavin, and c.ronaldo have a beat talented skills. They are so strong when run and shotting a goal, also they are clever player since can make a goal from difficult angle or from far away. Opponent's defender must have a problem when meet them.

Yeah, I agree with you. But even me as a United fan, I still think Rooney has more to show than his performances up to now. He used to be able to take on defenders way better now but at United when they had Ronaldo he was used sort of like a squad player while Ronaldo was being built around.
