Nurses are known to give TLC (tender loving care) to their patients, may they be in the hospital or just at home. But it makes me wonder, who takes care of the nurses?
I know that we nurses know how to take care of ourselves, but in cases when we are sick, who takes care of us?
This thought occurred to me, as I am sick today. I told my mom I'd call in sick at work today, but she doesn't care. All she said was, "Take some medicine and get to work". But whenever they are sick, I do all the pampering I could. When it comes to me being sick, there's no room to get sick. Darn. I am human after all.

Nurses take care of humans. We are all humans. So it could be that when you're sick, a nurse will take care of you, too, when you get admitted in the hospital. Our immediate family members take care of us at home. Because of your being a nurse, your mom was assured in telling you in a way, to take care of yourself.

As you said, Nurses are human too! They have family, friends, boyfriends and girlfriends, parents and loved ones. Once they're sick, I'm sure these people would come to their aid to comfort and pamper them. I would do the same really if I come to have a friend or a family member who profession is a Nurse. But I'm sure there will be lots of complain as I'm not good as she/he is. But it doesn't matter, as long as I can help her/him. And what about doctors and caregivers, I think they can be as TLC as Nurses too.lol
