I love to wear costumes, but I reject the practice of Halloween.

That's fair,it is not for everyone there are holidays I don't partake in as well. But those differences make life more colorful:)

ya know, that might be most of the reason I reject a LOT of Halloween - tho by rights we should be in Mass celebrating All Saint's Day...

I didn't get to go to the Halloween party I was invited to, but it worked out ok though because my hubby went with our 3 year old and I got to stay home with the baby I had via c-section October 7th! Its good for parents to have some one on one time with their parents I think :) My oldest also went trick or treating with her dad and got a ton of loot! I have missed Faery a TON too! She better not take off on us again or else ...

Halloween is my favorite holiday too. I don't dress up myself, but I put costumes on my stuffed animals, smirk. If I dressed up this year it would be as a vamp without a pyre. Heh heh.

I have been invited to come in a Halloween party this coming Thursday. Before we are informed that we are going to have a Halloween party, my friends are telling me that I could be "Sadako" in the Ring or the "Grudge" because of my long hair. They told me that its better for me to be in a White lady costume in our Halloween party or something like that because it suites me. But this coming Thursday, I planned to wear a "Mummy" costume so that I wouldn't have to usew a lot of make-up or do a lot of effort because I'm just going to cover my whole body with a white cloth. Hahaha! People would wonder who I am. My friends don't have an idewa that I'm going to wear the mummy costume so they will be surprised because they're expecting me to wear a white lady costume for the Halloween. Yes, I also love Halloween because it gives mt thrill and excitement.

As I have said in prior posts we have both been kinda MIA the last little while so we are now into January of 2010. I LOVE Hallowe'en, but I had a daughter via c-section October 7th so I was still a bit sore from surgery and unable to dress up and go to our friends Hallowe'en party. My oldest daughter (3) was really psyched about going though so my hubby took her and I stayed home with baby. Our daughter was a witch and she also went trick or treating with her dad and got a TON of candy. In fact she still has some kicking around the house.

I don't know yet about my costume! I really do want to dress up as something though. I will probably end up being something lame, like a cat, like I do EVERY year pretty much (I just throw something together at last minute). But I'm allowed to dress up at work, so I definitely want to take advantage of that. Got any ideas for me?
