The first game was a very close affair. Harbhajan and Praveen Kumar gave the Aussies a fright, but Siddle held his nerves and clinched victory for Australia. Indias bowling and fielding was poor giving away runs freely, the batsmen were also not to give them a good start. So who will with the second ODI? Who are the key players for both side?

What a shame that even if Bhajji played a blinder we still lost the first match. This shows that if our batsman can do well, we can win the second match without any doubt. Let's see. I hope that we will win, inchah allah! But the contest should be tight, isn't it?

Yeh Bhajjis innings was spectacular, like he always is against Australia. He would be dissapointed with the result given they came within four runs of victory. The top and middle order batsmen should have done more in the first ODI. Yeh I hope for a close contest, its alwatys good to watch a game where both teams can win until the lat minute. Thanks for the reply.

Yes Australias batting has weakened after Brett Lee and James Hopes were ruled out. Mitchell Johnson is also likely to sit out due to injury. Lee and and Johnson are Australias key bowlers, and Hopes a good option to keep things tight. Australia will miss them in this match. Hope Sachin can score runs in this game, he has a good opportunity, hope he can grab it. Thanks for the reply

Well indeed first game was a very close affair thanks to our Bowler's batting skill. i never expected india to get so close to the aussie total after the collapse they had. Now with Bret Lee and johnson mostly out of contention, I do believe that India has a good chance against a weak bowling attack. But you never know, Indian team has the skill to loose against the weakest of opposition. THe batting order must do its duty of batting solidly and scoring runs at a brisk pace. The likes of Dhoni are just eating up the balls without scoring runs. India I believe surely miss someone of dravid's calibre. At the moment I would say India are tipped to win Second ODI given a weaker aussie attack, but you never know!!

Yeh it was a good effort form the lower order to get so close to the total. If only the actual top order batsmen had done something more. The top order will have to score runs this time around or things wont go well. The bowlers will also have to step up. Australias bowling has weakened with the loss of Lee, Hopes and possibly Johnson so India has an even better chance. Thanks for the reply

Lets hope that Sachin makes a big score. He was dissapointing in the previous game and I am sure he would like to score big this time. If he does score hope he gets the support form the other batsmen, especially the middle order. If he falls early it will be upto Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvraj and Dhoni to take the responsibility and score. India has to win this match or else they could be out of the series.
