With the release of the novel Death Troopers, the Star Wars universe was given a mature and graphic upgrade. I myself enjoyed this change and hope to see more novels in this style. But does this change cause more harm than good? Yes we have always had plenty of limbs being sliced off by lightsabers, but never have we had the opportunity to read about half of someones face being blown off by a blaster, blood squirting everywhere and their jaw hanging down. And let's not forget the whole cannabalism thing. So, keep the new mature style or convert back to the classic style of story, that is the question?
