I'm from the Phils and we do normally celebrate Nov 1 with some relatives to visit our beloved departed relatives in cemeteries/chapels. I know for a fact that November 1 is All Saint's day yet we do celebrate this day as our "memorial day" But i'm pretty sure that not all of us practice it...do you ???

in Malaysia, for the Chinese, we normally do it on the 5th of April in order to visit the deceased tombs however I know some of my friends who are Christians by religion will visit their departed relatives too on the All Saint's day..

Yes, we Chinese celebrate Ching Ming every year in 5th April . It is a day where we go the deceased tombs to visit our beloved family or relative. We bring lot of food for praying. And some of the modern people even go for a picnic there. I don't have much Christian friend so I don't know much about the All Saint's day. Any one can share more ?

Hi...Incredible DNA We catholics in India observe this as all souls day or all saints' Day . We will have special Prayers in the church and the graveyards. All will go to the graveyares to pray for the departed ones. Here the November is observed as the month for the departed souls. so there will be prayers in the whole days of the month in the graves.

Unless you are catholic I don't think All Saints Day means much in this country. To me I like celebrating all the Saints who don't have special days of their own.
