Religions of the world are supposed to promote peace and indeed they are but it is ironical that some wars and other social disturbances are done in the name of religion. Some adherents are ready to fight for it and are even willing to die for there religion. That being said, some wars are purely political and without religious flavors, it is caused by several political ideologies.
enjoy!

There will be always bad people, because of human nature. Apart from that most people turned away from our creator and his guidance, just enjoyed what creator has given to us and declined to accept him and thank him. These are also major causes of the problems in our world.

Hi anjrit, Although most religions talk about peace, it's adherents rarely follow it and it remains for those with no religious affiliation to work for peace. The problem has always been that religions war over who is right and who is wrong. For that reason more wars have been fought over religion that any other thing, except perhaps land. Blessings.
