They say that everything begins with the vision and the attitude. Whatever you declare will be realized. Whatever you think about yourself will be reflected in your life.
Do you think you have what it takes to be rich?
What attitudes could support this claim?
I have both what it takes to be poor and to be rich. I am determined to finish what I start and I know how to motivate myself to win. But, my self-esteem is easily stirred when I see someone who has a greater potential than me.
I am good with details and I know how to manage time and budget my resources. But at the same time, I am sometimes too stiff even for myself thus not allowing myself to take a break or rest at all (thus pointing out the workaholic side of me).
I have the qualities of being successful but I don't feel I'm lucky at all with money.
I do well on the short-term level but I doubt I could carry it along for the long term.
But I am sure I could cultivate my skills and enhance my self-esteem more. In doing so, I could truly claim I have what it takes to be rich and successful!
What about you? Do you have what it takes to be rich?

I have come to terms that i will never be rich no matter how hard i try.I have also come to terms with the fact that i will never have any spare money as well,no matter how hard i try to cut back on things as well as work on the pc all the hours that i can.I try everything i can to make a bit of money like making cards and selling them to my family, coming on here as well as other sites i am on.As long as i can pay the bills that is the main thing.

All you need is a way to do it. Forget about all the things you think you need or think you have. A lot of the time being rich is also being lucky. Whether or not things work for you. That is mostly chance, not something you do. So get with it and do the work and see if you succeed. You might end up succeeding with something entirely different from what you started with.

I don't think you can always control it, and I think the point of view that 'if you have the right attitude you can be rich' actually leads to people looking down on poorer people and thinking 'huh, they are poor because they don't try'.
It is true to a certain extent that a good attitude will help you of course - a creative drive, determination, a good work ethic - all these will help to to create opportunities and earn more.
But sometimes it is not within your control - for example, I can only work part time because I have certain health issues - I try to make extra by writing and selling my art and working online, but I will only ever reach a certain level of income in my situation and I also have medical bills to deal with all the time. Then I was recently laid off from my job, and am looking but half my town has been laid off and there are just no jobs.
I also think you have to decide whether it is worth it - how rich do you want to be? Do you want to cover your bills with some left to live a little and save in case? Or do you want to be seriously rich? Because if you do you may have to be prepared to have no life outside work - for some people that is fine, but for some, they may feel, well, what am I working FOR if I have no life or family time outside to spend the money anyway?

A lot of people these days wanted to be rich. Watch the television and you will see a lot of young people wanting to hit it big on TV. You will also find shows telling you that you can be an instant millionaire. Just look at the line of people buying tickets for Lotto everyday, you would wonder how hopeful a lot of Filipinos has become that luck will fall on them and make them millionaires. I think the only thing that I have that takes me to be rich is my talent and being a good entrepreneurial skills and a business minded person.

People around me who know me real well always tell me that I have all the potentials to be rich. I have the talents, the training and the dedication in whatever I do and I always see tangible results of my efforts. But I don't see myself getting rich. I guess I don't have the discipline in handling money.
Everytime my bank account starts to get big, something will come up. A relative meeting an accident and needs help badly, something new in the market that I like to buy and tons of other reasons. Most of my friends who are rich are well disciplined in handling their money. I guess, I'm not like them.
Some say that becoming rich is hard word plus a little luck. I have yet to see lady luck smiling at me. But even if she doesn't I am happy where I am now.
enjoy!

What a question! It seem to me an easy one to answer but there is a twist to the question, do you have what it takes to be rich? I believe I possess the skills, the know how and the mental capacity of becoming rich but I do not have the financial resources at this time to become rich. I think many of us have ideas and plans to becoming rich but it does take some money to make money and this is something that is hard to come by these days.
