Mac Wireless

So i have a Macbook on of the new ones version 10.5.6. I have been having problems with different wireless network that i connect too. My internet at my school with this computer inside the study hall works, but when i go to my room at boarding school or even when i go home my computers internet is so slow. It barley loads pages or takes 10min. I know a couple kids at my school have the same computer, but do not have this problem. Can anyone help me with this?

With the problem that you have, I am thinking that it is the wireless connection of the places that you mention that has the problem. Cause here in our school, about 90% of our students here have the Macs, from iBook G4 up to the latest Macbook, Macbook Pro and none of them is having any problem in connecting to our wireless internet connection. Just try to ask any of your Systems Administrators to check their WiFi.
