Ever heard of a dutch oven? LOL.. I am very comfortable in my relationship and really do not politley go off somewhere else when my body needs to release any gas. My husband could care less and has rated them before!

It is pretty funny for sure... Do you know what a dutch oven is? When you are in bed and you have to fart and you pull the covers over the others head. I have done this to him a few times when he has made me upset in the past. Each time it has made up laugh hysterically and forget why we were mad in the first place.

Yeah, the guys find a lot of amusement in the whole "gas" thing...

He wouldn't think twice about letting rip so I dont bother either.... you probably don't want to come round to our house
I would make every effort to hold back in public or at work - so, its sometimes a major relief to get into the deserted multi-storey after an 8 hour shift!!! If only I could adapt the car to run on "gas"...

Yes and if only cat hair were worth something, I'd be rich! :-)

we are all quite comfy with one another here, so comfy, in fact, that skid marks have been known to appear from the laughter that always follows the fart.
sharting is a common occurrence, unfortunately.... but I only know that cuz I do the laundry

HaHa ... Great discussion!!
I'm the let her rip girl! Hubby doesn't mind at all. He does it too but he's not even close to me in sound/smell/length! LOL
Our 2 year old is one SMELLY "tooter" kid! I had made the comment that she got that from his side of the family.
He said NO WAY TOTALLY YOUR SIDE OF THE FAMILY!! I asked him how he figured that and he responded with a list HAHA! It went some thing like well theres you, and your brother is HORRIABLE even you mom is bad!! Okay I guess I can claim it ... she gets it from me!

At times I'll let a little out but most of the time I like to do this in private, the other side of this couple has not compulsion for polite behavior however and when ever or where ever just lets go. I move away quickly when able to do so.

Our relation is as comfortable as the lap of the mother for the baby. Would it be a hyperbole? Well to speak in the plain term we are just happy with other having no frequent bickering or grumbling faces. If any issue arises we try to find a solution to that leisurely and amicably, not banging the table. lol

One of the joys of being single. Except sometimes, I gross myself out!

This is a good discussion topic as I have been in my conversations about the same thing. In my opinion, doing it like that is kind of rude no matter how comfortable you are. It's just a polite thing to do to walk away or stand farther away. I would never do it in front of anybody, ESPECIALLY a girlfriend.

I wouldn't either but would 20 years of marriage change anything?

I treat it as an ice-breaker whenever things are quite stiff, if you know what I mean. Anyway, to be able to fart (nicely, at least, eh).. will give the impression to the person that you are a realist..
Oh my! I can't believe I'm saying this..
Dawn.. imagine this. For someone whom goes to a private place to let 'it' go, each time, say in a restaurant having a dinner date, lol...I just can't imagine! When nature has to go, it just has to go...

hi dawnald I am a widow now but yes if this is what I think we are talking about yes I could let her rip without thinking my hubby would be grossed out,as often I could not make it into
the bathroom in time. It was so lovely to be loved unconditionally as you can be yourself and not have to always be pretending you are something you are not.
