Why were uggs made in austrailla if its hot over there?

I alwasy wondered that! Uggs were made for winter and for the cold, but I heard it hot in Austrailla.....

This is a good questions! I would love a pair of original Uggs. I was so surprised to find out this is an australian company. These comfy warm winter boots can't have been made there surely?
