What films Have you ever Cried To ?

October 27, 2009 4:29pm CST
I do tend to cry to films that are quite sad. For eaxmple I have watched Titanic loads of times and yet I still tend to cry to it. i have also cried during watching Marley and Me becuz it is quite a sad film and although iv'e watched it quite a few times and i still do cry whilst watching it. I cry mostly when i watxh films when animals die because i do love animals there so Cuddly and i love playing with them as i have 2 dogs and one is quite old now and needs more attention than the other and its a little awkward. The worst time i cry to films is when i watch sad films with my mates and when my mates start cryin before i do that makes me cry aswell when im watching the film. Me and my friend Sophie have watched Beaches and sophie has started crying first and that made me cry. What Films Make you cry ??

I have cried to Tale of Two Sisters (Korean) finding out about circumstance of the situation of one sister. Ka Hal No Hal(Hindi) when a argument between mother and grandmother reveals a important detail about the mother's child that the grandmother was cruel to. Tears of Tuscan Sun or something of that effect starring Bruce Willis in a African country that is ravaged by war. There was also a film I watched for anthropology class that left me shaken if not stirred that also had African as a setting. Nanking Massacre (Chinese) with the mother screaming as her baby lay pierced on the bayonet of a solider who sliced open her stomach as well another scenes. Many movies must be intense to make me cry. I am very strong most of the times.

It's from the 1970's, Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford, a romance about a couple who really love each other but can't make it work...

I have seen a lot of movies in my life, and most of them do not make me cry or make me want to cry, even though there are some sad movies,or some movies with really sad parts that make anyone cry,and I know one movie that made me cry was Deep Impact and I remember me and my parents watched it in theaters, and I was crying when we left the theater because it was sad, because you never know what is going to happen, and I am still afraid because we do not know when the world will end,but I know as long as I ask God to protect me and save me,when the time comes he will take me home, and I know my wife will be there with me,and so will my parents.

Being good and religious child I cried watching movie about Jesus set in 1970's,now I don't remember the exact title. You know, for some reason I was moved while watching Talk to her and Bad education by Almodovar. The same happened with Philadelphia,The Green Mile,Boys don't cry,Saving private Ryan and,of course,Titanic.People understand differently what is sad,I think.Sometimes you can't even explain what makes you cry.Face expression, music, beautiful words..You always can find things that touch your soul.

Every time I watch PS I Love You, I cry. That movie just gets me. The husband is so sweet and I can't imagine if my husband did something for me like that if he knew he was going to die. I love to cry at movies, it always feels so good after. I have not yet watched Marley and Me and I need to. I have heard such good things about it. Have you watched PS I Love You?

well, some romance or love films make me cry as i broke up with my former girlfirend because I had the same feeling as the actor or actress in the film. I am sensitive person.

The Romance films that make me cry are Beaches because i think that has a litle touch of romance there and deffinately had enough to make me cry but that dosent take much when im watchimg fillms though its weird because I cry more when im watching films than when im not.

I cry over all kinds of films. I cried when I watched beaches too. When I see a film that has someone or an animal die in it I always cry. They make these films to make us I cry I think. I think it just means you got a good heart and hate to see anyone or anything suffer. Yes I do cry. When I seen the green mile I just balled over John Coffee. I think that if the world was to receive a real healer like John Coffee was in that show someone would land up killing the healer. Just like they killed Christ.

I usually do not cry much when i watch movies, but Marley And Me really touched me. I was in a theater watching the movie and sniffing and sobbing like nobody was there :P. People's pain does not touch me as much seeing an animal suffer. And seeing the entire family suffer touched me to a great extent as i have 3 dogs too and i can relate with the very easily. I've cried watching Lassie and Bambi too. Black (a hindi film from india) was very touching and moved me to tears also.
28 Oct 09
Yeah Marley And Me has to be one of the films ive cried to the most because I dont like seing animals suffer as I am a big animal lover and hate to see them in pain.

I try no to cry when watching movies, especially when everyone is around. But there was one movie, I had to get up several times, to wipe my tears in privacy. "Who will love my children" really moved me. Watch it if you can.

I didn't really cry as in a cry baby kind of cry. But I admit that I almost went to tears when I saw the movie John-Q and The Pursuit of Happyness. Those movies are touching. And the protagonists from each movie are great actors.

I am a little bit sentimental all the time. Films, songs and articles can easily make me shed tears. Sometimes I cry because of sadness, most of time I cry because of a beautiful srory with a happing ending. Les Choristes and The Shawshank Redemption is my favorite. I just think of a old song called "Sad movies always make me cry". I don't think this melody is sad. It's a story about growing up in the love. I won't be shy if I cry, it's my true color. how do you think, Stickwoo?
28 Oct 09
Yeah i am a lot like that, I cry a lot when im sad and also a lot when im scared. Recently my mate has mooved away to Exeter and i cried all mornin when she was leaving and since the day i have been really open and i speak to her on Facebook and stil cry when i speek to her and shes been living in Exeter for a year and a half now. I doint think there is no need to be shy either as i bet we all have cried to some films well most of us anyway, its just our sensitivity i think. thanks for the Reply
