Yahoo news = always something stupid headlining!

Ha, I expect an argument here. But who agrees with me: Yahoo's main page almost ALWAYS has something totally irrelevant that it's headlining as "news". A couple of days ago, one of the "news articles" that came up automatically when I opened the page (I was trying to get to Yahoo Mail to check my e-mail) was an article about how to tell if your guy is cheating. It was something like: "Is he being faithful?" and although I didn't open the article, I'm guessing it was a list of "red flags" that ladies should look out for to make sure their partner is being faithful. Firstly, without getting into the ridiculousness of that article, I'd just like to say: was that REALLY the most important thing going on that day? I don't watch the news very often, but I'm guessing not.
Obviously, like many websites, Yahoo wants as many clicks and views as possible (because they too advertise, of course) - but can't they put.. RELEVANT news on their front page instead of things like this? I more often than not see these kinds of articles headlining and it just makes me wonder. Do people actually like this stuff? Would you rather read about 10 clues that your spouse is cheating or what's going on in a worldly, global sense?
I'd like to hear what you think.

You think that's bad...Try AOL. Shesh! Talk about some S.T.U.P.I.D. headlines. There's like 8 pages when you log in & the welcome screen appears. I skim the first page & usually just close the window entirely. The next 7 pages of drivel aren't even worth looking at.
