I wouldn't put anyones name on me. Case in point when my ex was away at war, he got a taboo and put my name on it. Now we are divorced and he has my name on him. He is remarried now and I wonder what his wife thinks. I told him not to put my name on him, but he did anyway.

No, no, no names permanently on your body. You never know what could happen when eventually you're not happy with having that name on you. Of course it's a personal choice, but a lot of tattoo artists don't recommend it either.

I'm afraid I wouldn't put any tattoo on my body. For a start, I'm not a big fan of needles so the idea of subjecting myself to having one decorate me with some image is one I just couldn't deal with. Beside that however, I don't really like the idea of having osmething like that on my body forever. I've had henna designs on my hands and arms before, and I'd do that again definitely even though it does take a long time to do, but even the best henna design doesn't last more than about 4-6 weeks at most.

no i wouldn't do it, not my partners name any way, my son maybe. just for the reason if you break up it's there and you've got no way to remove it unless you find another tat to go over the top. i don't even want a pic of a horse on me, and i love my horses.
buts it's a personal choice, i know my boss has her hubby's name on her back. it's an awsome tat. they've been together for i think 20 + yrs.

No, I don't think I would. My first husband had, had his first wife's name tattooed on his wrist. They had married right out of high school & planned on a long life together. Once she left him, he was sorry for having her name there. It was a constant reminder!!! Once we met & got married, he despised having it there. He finally had it covered up with another tattoo that was much larger. I worked with a girl who had her boyfriend's name tattooed across her chest. They broke up because he couldn't stand the tattoo. I have a tattoo, but I don't think I'd ever add a name to any tattoo as none of us can see into the future. What we assume will be, may or may not be!!!

I wouldn't put any tattoo on my body much less someone's name. I guess if someone is ashamed of their body and feels the need to cover it up, they might put tattoos on it, I can't really think of any other reason. As far as names, think about Angelina Jolie having to remove Billie Bob Thornton for example.
