a man & a woman who died in an accident 20 years ago eventually wed in an afterworld wedding ceremony. the guy's mother said that 5 years ago she dreamt of her son telling her that he had married the woman & they had 2 children in the afterworld. later the mother fell ill & the family found out through a medium that the couple wanted the family to organize a wedding for them. the mother recovered from her illness after her family discussed wedding plans with the girl's family. this is a true story reported in our local newspaper. what do you think about it?

sounds like bad news to me, the Bible says there is no marrying in heaven.

most probably they are not Christians & they don't believe in the Bible. so there is an urgent need to preach the gospel to the whole inhabited earth!

I'm curious, what specific verse in the Bible that says something like that?

I think it is somewhat attention seeking, but if it made the mother feel better, whatever...

yeah, it is base on individual belief to believe about the story of the mother & the medium, but the wedding did actually happened.

This sounds very intresting and creepy at the same time. I think a story like this could be on tv in the belive or not catigory. Howver on the other hand it sounds very crazy. I do wonder if it was real true or just a hoax.

yes, it's true as it was being reported in the newspaper after the wedding ceremony was done. however, i have no comment on the dreaming part of the mother & the medium that they used to communicate.

Now this is just REALLY weird!! Yeah, I believe in the afterlife but I also believe that you have to be alive to get married & have kids...It is sad for the families that they lost their loved ones but a wedding!?!?!?!? It would've been better to have rememberanceceremony for them instead...to me, I think that would've been the easiest way for family & friends to deal with.

you got a point there! it's better to have rememberance ceremony for them. but maybe a rememberance ceremony is too normal & so they did something different. it seems like the responder above is right - attention seeking.

I agree that it could beb attention seeking & we are just giving her more attention by talking about it but the bonus is weget paid for doing so lol.... i just hope thi mother can let go of a bit of her grief.

but we did not mention any names here, so they are not credited. most people still don't know about them. but we still get paid for discussing it here.

I think it's very sweet but I don't believe in mediums. I also don't think marriage is a big issue in the afterworld, as it is spiritual in nature. It's a nice story, though.

yeah, if we treat it as a fantasy story it's nice. but in reality, there are many parts of the story are too ridiculous.

Woah! really?? Talk about "Forever". Maybe its just a publicity stunt for both of the families or even for just the mother who fell ill. Maybe they are genuine, who knows right? I think its just a matter of faith and personal belief. Maybe the mother and the family do believe that their children are 'married' in the afterlife. And that strong belief has manifested physically by being ill. Then recovering once the belief or faith has been appeased or fulfilled. I dont really know, that's just my opinion on the matter.

I guess all things are possible but in something like this I always look for the money, someone made money arranging that wedding. I would ask a lot of questions before I brought into this idea.

Oh god, that's really cool! Although I know a lot of people would be skeptical about this, I still think it's pretty neat. If ever this is true, I'm available for a ringbearer.

about the wedding, yes, it's a fact. but regarding the story of the mother & the medium, it depends on each one of us to believe or not. i don't have any more such news, i got this news from my reading of the newspaper recently.

This proves that there is an afterlife and an afterworld, which many do not think exists. I am reading a book called "Converations with a Spirit" by Dolores Cannon. It is an amazing book and reveals what we all wanted to know desperately, what will happen to us after we have gone from this world.I can very well believe what has been written in your newspaper about this couple, however in the spirit world those who live there do not have physical bodies but spirit bodies.believe me, you and i have been there hundreds of times and will keep going and coming until we reach a stage when we will never have to reincarnate in another body in this world.

Sounds like a fascinating story and I guess we will never know if the dream or the medium were correct with their messages. I hope that the medium was not someone out to take advantage of a grieving mother because unfortunately there are so many frauds out there that prey on people’s despair. Having the wedding wouldn’t have been a bad thing to do for the rest of the family anyway and may have given them a chance to celebrate the couple’s lives and move on.
