escudero just announced a few hours ago that he resigned as member of nationalist people's coalition party. but he didn't yet declared if he's running for president or not. what could be the reason why he left a big political party that can help him in his ambition if he's going to gun for the presidency?

This is the latest twist in Philippine Politics... which i think has turned into a soap opera... whatever his reason is... this is definitely a setback for Chiz Escudero... because all of a sudden he decided to quite a party that he has been affiliated to for a decade... he should have a good reason for that... because if there is a difference in terms of ideals... he should have quit years ago...

he said it's because of his own principles that's why he decided to quit to NPC. he wanted to prove that he's not only after of depending his campaign funds to only one person or group of people. he made mention that he may or may not be running for presidency. i guess he'll be a better vice president since he's still very young. he needs to prove more himself

By the way he stated his reason was that there seems to be some kind of disagreement between the party and his principle. He doesn't want to be controlled by the party's ruling him. But if he would still pursue it I guess he may take it hard to go on with the big parties going on around. I am thinking that this is Loren's chance now to elevate her dreams of running for the presidential rather than the vice presidential race. And Loren remains in the Party I guess she is the next one to bid for the position.

He was interviewed by Arnold Clavio on whether he'll run for president or vice president but he did not give a definite answer maybe because he's still have to make up his mind. Cheers!
