In general, we often want to have a good life. We sometimes are surprise to see that we also want things that other people are having. We envy them, hoping that we are also enjoying what they have. Being envy must be taken positively. Instead of cursing these people having a good life. They should inspire us to persevere and work hard to attain our goal and eventually to enjoy the luxury in life.

I always look at how lucky i am. I had a daughter 5 years ago, a year later my husband had cancer and we were told we couldn't have anymore children. I already had a child some people dream about that so i considered myself very fortunate.
Sometimes the best way to feel content with ourselves is to make a list of all that we have to be thankful for, and compare it to things that we feel are negative.
Lots of times, we will see the positive will win out.

Enviousness rooted in insecurities. People get envy because of so many insecurities in life, they constantly need assurance and attention. Even Psychologists justified that enviousness has something to do with the feeling of insecure and very low self-esteem.

Envy is a survival instinct. We always want what we don't have or can't have. We always think what someone else has might be better. This is definitely a natural feeling, we just have to know how to control it and not let it control us.
