Hope you guys are Adsense veterans. Definitely it is one of the best marketing model we have ever seen. However, let us have a look at the disadvantages of Google Adsense.
1. With Google Adsense you could be banned very easy if they discover fraudulent clicks on ads appearing on your pages. This means that any one can make a flaw. That is if you want to block adsense account of your enemy or competitor you can forcefully click on his or her ad links. Also, web sites having excessive advertising are currently being rejected.
2. With Google Adsense the minimum payout is $100. Most websites take a long time to reach this amount. That is not a problem for experts.
3. If somebody make a click on the tag saying “Ads by Google” you won’t get anything for giving free promotion to Google.
4. Google may have rocket scientists. Pretty Cool, ahh. The statistics of Google are easy to understand but sometimes are inadequate and far away from reality. With Google Adsense you cannot determine the payout rates of the advertisements. A fatal disadvantage of Adsense is that they don’t say how much its AdSense partners will receive. You aren’t able to make any estimation just receiving an unknown share of the revenue.
5. Furthermore, web sites and blogs that desire to display AdSense ads may not include other content-targeted and/or text-based ads on the pages displaying AdWords ads.
6.In order to clarify the policies and terms of use, Google has made a lot of modifications to its AdSense FAQ. If you read well you will notice that some advices in rules are a completely contradiction in the Frequently Asked Questions.
7.Google doesn’t allow you to share your stats with other persons.
8. Many publishers also fail to ever gain the revenues they anticipated when starting the program. Those only gaining 30 to 40 visitors a day to their website would be unlikely to earn even one dollar a day. Many advertisers talk of rates such as 1.5%- 5% for traffic to click conversion, whilst only gaining around $0.10 per click. The maths does not work out great, but you can hardly blame advertisers or Google if you are not bringing enough traffic. The key is to bring targeted traffic to your website that are likely to click on adverts, however it is said that it may be easier on other programs which allow figures such as 75% share of advertising revenues for publishers.
Important notes:
Please don’t join it in the hope that you’ll immediately start making money. Its a very slow and steady process. Think of it as a bonus to your online blogging/webmaster efforts. but never concentrate on it as your livelihood. It doesn’t work that way unless you have an awesome website with superb traffic. Remember majority of the publishers have google ads. It will take time to make some money. Whilst Google Adwords remains the most popular amongst advertisers; with a database of over 140,000 Adwords will remain on top for the time to come.
