The heat's on for the first time

I've managed to last this long without turning the heat on, the longest I've ever gone if I remember correctly. I'm in Virginia, so we haven't had any crazy snow storms, chilling cold, or any other crazy weather. It's been pretty warm up until today. Actually today's not that cold either, about 60 degrees, but it's probably close to 65 in my house right now. I was gone for a couple of days and saw no reason to heat or air condition while I wasn't here, so I just turned it off. Since it was mid-70's most of the week, I made the right decision. Now I'm sitting here with the vent un-freezing my feet. Winter is upon us... Has winter hit where you are yet?
