earning from facebook .......is possible?

Facebook is a social networking site. You can not earn from facebook directly. But you can earn indirectly by promoting your products, blogs etc.

Internet marketers and the like usually 'leverage' the facebook network to make money off independent programs. What they do is create groups or profiles with lots of friends, and then promote their other websites via facebook by sending mass messages to friends/ or on groups, etc. They get new visitors to their websites, and they can hopefully get some of them to buy their product. THat's how they make money. So in short, their way of making money is by leveraging the network, and not the network itself

The previous responders are right with the promoting your business and stuff. But the actual way of earning through facebook was revealed quite a while ago, and I don't know if it is still on. Facebook was paying developers to create Applications for the website, just like Apple pays Developers to create applications for Apple iPhone and iPod touch.
