Do you believe that someone can be truley addicted to the Internet? I don't believe that a person could really be addicted to the Internet or gaming. Yet I here that a 19-year-old boy is the first person to undergo the first in-patient treatment for Internet addiction at the Washington-based reSTART Internet Addiction Recovery Program. Yes, I'm sure that someone could be addicted to the internet. People can get addicted to almost anything . . .
Good thing that the things I use the internet for do not have high addictive properties, I can go on mylot and make some posts and stop whenever I want to. I have given up playing many of these "hard-core" games that eat up a lot of time. Instead, I watch Star Trek, play silly browser games such as SpaceInvasion, which is a text-game, and Runescape to buy and sell things.
I think it is frightening, though, how people can be thinking about the internet all the time, but when it gets taken away . . . Sometimes I think technology has changed the world for the worse, with people becoming addicted to it . . .

I'm addicted to making money. And now that I have found Mylot I'm afraid I may have a double addiction. Oh no! It's the domino effect! I'm only 16 and I also have a gambling problem. I wonder where this money addiction is going to take me in life.

I'm sure that that is a healthy addiction that you have. Making money is a very ambitious "addiction", and I believe that you will become very successful if you continue this addiction . . .
