hey people, i'm turning 20 this november, i have enjoyed almost all of my teenage life, now i'm an adult....
anyhow, can i expect any gift or surprise cakes from my friends??
even if i expect, i would not get...
because everybody is busy with the semester exam, even i'm...
but for everybody's birthday i gift them but i would not expect anything in return, if i get anything i would be happy, if i don't get, i would not become sad..this is my attitude...but most of the people don't concentrate on my birthday..only my parents and my friends near my home...
coll friends don't care much...
i know this is not a question, i simply made discussion...
happy mylotting...

Well, since you have not asked any question, I would just like to share something with you. Stepping into an adult's world is a whole new beginning in your life. It is important for you to be prepared to accept some changes and how other people will treat you. There are no more excuses like when you are still a student. You have to learn to carry the responsibility on your own.
I understand what you mean about birthdays. We are still celebrating birthdays no matter how old we are because it's like a tradition in a family. It does not have to be a big celebration or with gifts or no gifts, but celebrating it with family is just fine and enough. I hope your friends will remember your birthday, but if they don't, don't be disheartened because like you've said, your family and friends in your neighborhood do remember about it. So, I think as long as your parents are there for you, it will be enough, right?!
So, cheer up, prepare to celebrate a new life and all the best to you!!!

You're very welcome...
Hahaa, yes, use all the time you have as a student before you graduate. We are always 'students' actually because even when you're in adult's world, you will always be learning.
Well, it's nice to know that you were actually born in my country. Are your parents pure Indian?

advance happy birthday to you, gunagohan. adults don't care about parties or gifts anymore, they care more about other people than themselves, at least most adults do. My advise is study hard... enjoy school and be happy. eventhough teenage life is priceless... i still believe that maturity is even better. (you'll feel it once you have it!)
i use to obsess about age before... especially during the transition of teenage to -TIES'. when i was 20, when someone asks me how old i am... i say, im twenteen... hahaha! :))

wow i am happy that you were happy as a teen and i am sure you will be more happy as an adult if we can consider 20 an adult already as i don't know the age bracket for adult. anyways, 20 is still young and don't feel so much pressured just because you are turning 20 already. you are really so young still. i wish i can still be that young. ha ha. time flies so fast.

but when i was your age i don't feel young. i mean i quiet scared getting old. ha ha. like the first digit starts at 2 already. but now looking back it is still young. but honestly, i feel it is still old already but still young to experience a lot of things in life.

Advance Happy Birthday!
Do you have any plan for your birthday? how do you want to celebrate it this time? i know your family will be there for you and some of your close friends-- but at 20, do you have anything in mind to make your celebration extra special? Are you going to involve you family to make it happen? Whatever it is... i wish you more blessings for you upcoming birthday. More happy years to come!

If your going 20 and still studying, I think there nothing magical to it, really. Just wait until you graduated and find a real job of your own, then that would be a turning point of your career. Birthday presents and celebrations? just tell your buddies that its your birthday, then you know what I mean. Be careful in drinking though.

Happy birthday amigo....or Cumpleanos Feliz :) I think I remember turning 20, it was 20 years ago which makes me......lol! Have a great day and don't worry about getting old, because it will happen naturally and losing sleep over just means you're not enjoying your younger years. Think of it as a blessing and if friends or family don't care...God does :)

Hi Gunagohan,
I would like to wish in advance a very happy birthday to you. Now you are saying a good-bye to your teen and you are become more responsible by age. I think in college they are busy with studies and you may be a nice person that is why taking care of your friend's birthday. But all of them are busy with studies and not bother to about others. It is good your friends in local places are taking care of you and remembering your birthday. Please try to find out the good friends who can always with you.
Good luck and have a nice day.

Being 20 you shouldent be expected to recieve anything, maybe a Birthday Party with a few friends out somewhere, but not think that you deserve it or its owed to you just because you turned 20. It is time to act more mature because life is truley only going to get harder for you. We all get the that age and past it in some cases.. it also depends on how we weve raised some want it others dont really care

advance happy birthday gunagohan..now you are not a teenager anymore, it's time for you to act as a mature guy...it's just okay that some other friends forgets out birthday, even me, i get disappointed if some of my closest friend forgets it, because our birthday is the most important day of our life and of course we expect something from our dearest friends, not only gifts but a simple greetings will cheer us up...happy mylotting.
