Good morning mylotters! Just recently, I have just fried my eggs, both of them. While I was cooking my breakfast, I was also wondering how do my friends here like their eggs done.
I usually fry my eggs, coz I like them when the egg whites are fried with the crunchy part at the side and soft egg yolks. But sometimes, I scramble them, just to make something new.
How about you guys? How would you like them? Would like it:
1.) Fried? or
2.) Scrambled? or
3.) Hard boiled?
And for those who can't decide, maybe you can let your girl friend or love ones decide how?

I like my eggs omeleted, if that's even a word. I enjoy all kinds of omelets from western to mexican style. There are so many varieties that you can eat a different omelet everyday for a couple of weeks. I never get tired of them. Omelets weren't an option on your list, so I thought I'd add it here. My second favorite style of eggs is to scrambled. I don't like fried eggs so much because it is too greasy for me. Boiled eggs are too boring and plain. I once ate 6 omelets at one sitting. I don't suggest anyone try this, however. I was sick the whole day after that. That is just too many eggs.

i LOVE scrambled eggs and my dad (who was a chef) made the best scrambled eggs ever! you put a bit of milk in the eggs, whip them up (i also add cheese and ham) and cook them in a double boiler so there are no hard bits from the eggs frying. all the eggs are light and fluffy (sometimes i cheat and cook them in the microwave!)

Don't really have much of a preference to tell you the truth. I can eat eggs just about any way imaginable. I can even eat them raw, if you forced the issue. Can't promiss they wouldn't come back up a few minutes later though. If there was money on the line, I'd try to keep it down as long as possible.
If a choice of some sort had to be made, Fried would probably be the way to go. I like my eggs fried, with a lot of cheese in 'em. If it weer possible to inject cheese in a hard boiled egg, that would definitely be the lone winner for sure. I wish chickens laid cheese logs instead of eggs. That would be gross, but still pretty delicious.

I never eat raw egg. Yucky. But i usually do it before mixing raw scrambled egg to my hot rice for breakfast, I don;t know but I really loved that stuff too. I once saw it on a Japanese cuisine on tv, tried it, then liked it. That was also when I was still active in work outs. They say that raw eggs have more proteins than the cooked ones.

Thanks mdaazam!
I really liked them too. Some times, I make an egg sandwich with it, top with ham, or bacon... etc., usually when i'm in a hurry for school. That was during my school days though. That would really keep me going the entire morning then...

I like toasted sunny side up. I love it when its sides are brown already and crunchy. Just had it for breakfast this morning. Aside from that I also love omelet. I also love grilled eggplant dip in scrambled egg then fry it. It's yummy. Another is scrambled eggs with corned beef, or cubed potatoes, or tomatoes, or even tunas in it. I love experimenting when it comes to cooking of eggs.

I like my eggs cooked always well done first of all. I like scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs and omelets. Omelets are great when you make them a bit spicey with red pepper flakes, green peppers and onions. Hmmmmm good! Now I'm hungry for them but I'm eating granola with raisins and cranberries. I will be good today but maybe not tomorrow.

Hello Jankar this is checkmail and often do have eggs for mine breakfast, mostly omlett - both sides fried.Actually used to have all types of dishes in eggs, like the half-fry, scrambled, boiled. But the boiled one is tateless and making it spicy makes it junk food.Scrambled eggs are used for meals sometimes. And the half fry my, had problems with it, pain in stomach after having it.So now just prefer omlett.

We like our eggs with the yolk still running, sometimes I like soft scrambled eggs. I like boiled eggs once a year or so. Poached eggs are great but hard to make for me anyway. Eggs are good for you I don't care what anyone says we love our eggs. We are lucky though we can get fresh farm eggs just down the road and they are jumbo eggs for a 1.25 a dozen.

That is how i usually do it also, soft scramble eggs. Where its not totally cooked, left some of it still wet. Yummy. The least, or the kind that really don't like is the hard boiled one. I don't know but I don't like the taste anymore when its hard boiled...

Hello Jankar! I love frying my eggs in the morning too. Just like you i like it when the egg whites are fried with the crunchy part at the side but for the egg yolks, I want it well done. Don't like soft egg yolk. It looks raw to me.
I don't like scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Sometimes, ill go for omelet with meat inside or even fish, or maybe cheese and tomato.
Have a great day!

i'm an ardent fan of eggs. i love to fry, boil, scramble and steam eggs. the steamed egg is a tranditional Chinese food, called Egg Foo Young. first blend the eggs, then mix it with some water and add proper salt and oil. at last steam it. very simple to make. i extremely want to make an omelette since i watched the movie Ratatouille. coz i don't have a pan, i failed. hope i can make the tasty omelette someday.

I like it to be scramble or egg roll as then put a lots of diced onions or cloves then with a mix of ketchup. The taste so yummy with a combination of sweetness it makes the egg dishes tempting to tastes. I too like the egg boiled as i love to eat the whole eggs.

if i've got enough time to cook, i love vegetable omelet. i don't depend on a cook book or any recipe. i just check out what veggies are available in the fridge. when making vegetable omelet and you've got kids to feed, mince the veggies so they won't really notice. this trick works. however if i'm running out of time, i simply drop an egg in the rice cooker after turning it on. LOL!
enjoy your eggy meals!
