Do you ever feel like you don't want to go to bed?

There are some times when I am not tired but yet feel like I need to go to sleep because it is getting late and my husbands is heading up so it would only feel right to go up with him. He tells me that it is alright and that if I am not tired and want to stay then I should but in the same I also feel like he might say it but not really mean it and if I were to not go to bed at the time he did he might get secretly mad at me. So what about you do you stay up later that your spouse or do you both go up at the same time? If you stay up later do you ever feel like your spouse may be secretly mad at you?

Hi Froggieslover, I don't think my husband gets mad at me when i don't want to go to bed yet. He will give me a massage and will be patient enough to do it until i fall asleep. For the past two weeks, the reason for my not wanting to go to bed yet, is I AM BUSY WITH TO MYLOT. My husband is calling to sleep but i used to ask for an extension and tell him to go ahead and sleep. He is supportive about my being into mylot even at late nights

I am the same way with the mylot...there are times when I am a little tired but feel like I didn't get enough time to mylot for that day and all I want to do is stay up just a bit longer that way I can get enough earnings. I will see a discussion and think I need to respond to that and if I don't get a chance I will think about that all night LOL....my husband doesn't mind my mylotting either, he knows this is what I do all most all day when I am on the internet and thinks that it is a great place for me to spend my time HEhehehe Thanks for your response

Hi dear! Very interesting question. Normally, we go to bed together. However, if I am staying awake and is she is going to bed, she feels restless and uneasy thinking why I'm awake and why cannot I join her in the bad. I think it is human nature to get suspicious about spouse...........LOL!

Please be positive about your relationship with your hubby and have faith on his honesty and commitment. Please do not allow negative thoughts to travel in your mind about his and your relationship and keep enjoying.

There are very few times where I have been able to fall asleep without my husband in the bed with me, it just feels empty and even a bit scary when he isn't there...but he falls asleep all the time without me LOL Husband and I have a great relationship and I can almost promise my life on that neither of us will ever cheat on one another but I am sure that fear is there in any relationship....thanks for your response.

Sometimes I stay up later than my husband but it doesn't bother him. Sometimes he stays up later than I do too. It can be hard for both people to feel like going to sleep at the same time, don't you think?

I do think so yes, there are times when he stays up later than I do but mostly just on the weekends and I could care less, I am tired and will sleep when I am tired. There has been times to when I have told him I was going to go down and watch tv or something because i couldn't sleep and he will say go please your driving me nutsy with my tossing and turning LOL....I guess I just feel that way at times with him. Thanks for you response.

Saturday is the only day of the week where I can stay late at night. I would spent watching movies on cables or watch a DVD movie until wee hours. At times my wife would complain about it as she cannot sleep without me in the bed.

Hello fulltank, I agree with your wife, my husband is always able to fall asleep without me in the bed but I never have been able to..I can go up in the bed and lay but can never fall asleep without him there, It has something to do with his body next to mine and the warmth of him there as well I think. Thanks for your response.

I sometimes stay up later than my spouse. I don't think he gets mad at me. Usually when I finally do go to bed he is already asleep and snoring. My husband does tell me it's alright for me to stay up because he has to go to work in the morning. Although, I know that I will be tired in the morning as I have to get up and take the kids to school. But then I make it up by taking a nap while the kids are at school.

Hi risaree: lucky you! You're husband must be patient sometimes. I know i'll usually don't care about it but i'll get mad if i just want to be with my honey and she want to stay awake at night. I won't be very upset because i love to do the same but it's sure that i'd complain a little with her. Lol. XD

Hello risaree, I am in the same boat as you, I don't stay up later than my husband often because I am always so tired but there are times when I can't sleep so instead of laying in bed tossing and turning and possibly bothering my husband who needs to get off to work in the morning. I also have to get up and get the kids ready in the morning although sometimes once a week my husband will go ahead and get the kids up and out to school and let me sleep in for a few hours although I am not real big on doing that because it seems like every time he does that I sleep till noon or one and that is too late to sleep. There are mornings where I nap during the time kids are in school too but I try not to because then I can't sleep at night. Thanks for your response.

Oh I have those days where I don't want to get up or stay up as well but I seem to have more of the days where I can't sleep. It seems to be a back and forth run about every other month or so for though. I wish it would just make up its mind LOL Thanks for your response.

Do you want to switch schedules for a bit? I would love to be exhausted to where when it hit like 11:00 pm I would be tired enough to go up to bed and fall asleep with no tossing and turning...LOL Thanks for your response

Actually, I am a TV addict. And everytime I am planning to go to bed I actually see nice movies in Cable TV. That is why, I don't feel like going to bed. I just forced myself to sleep if I am already sleepy and that the movie that I am watching is already finished.

It sounds like you might need to invest in a DVR that way you can record all these shows or movies that you see on at night and then just watch them during the day instead that way your not missing out on any of your sleep....Thanks for your response.

Sometimes, if I am tired I just go ahead to bed and sleep. Other times when it is too late, I will look for my hubby downstairs and ask him if he wants to sleep already and tell him that I will go to the bed first. He's perfectly okay with it and I don't think he will be mad just because of that. There are also times when he goes to bed earlier than me and I will either sit in front of my laptop and continue with what I am doing or I will join him because it's getting late, but later on I will only lie down there because I am not sleepy and there are times I have trouble falling into sleep even though I do feel tired. However, most of the times we will both go up at the same time and sometimes just do some pillow talk until we fall asleep.

Hello corrycrystal, Hubby and I will normally always go to bed together but I know there are times when I am not tired that I will sit up there and talk and talk and I know it is driving him nuts because he has to work the next day and there are also times when I know that I toss and turn and am keeping him up and it makes me feel bad because he is the type that can't fall back asleep or nap like I can so he is going that whole day without sleep until night and then if I continue to keep him up at night since I can't sleep he never gets any sleep LOL Thanks for your response

I alway stay up at night and i feel very good at night both in physical and mental.Everytime when it is mid night i donnot wanna to go to sleep unless i have classes the next day. There is a vivid discrible for me is "Night Cat" This is usually used to refer people those who do not to sleep early.I think it's quite suitable for me.Though i knew that too late to sleep is not good for my health and skin ,i really cann't help myself to do that.Wow!

Hello vincyk, I get the same way, I have always thought that...I just feel more alive come late evening. I am sure it has part to do with the fact that I seem to sleep in later so even to most evening is time for resting and sleep for me it is like being mid afternoon when most are most awake and aware of things around them...I just need to get my sleeping schedule fixed but it is so hard to get it there. Thanks for your response.

I am fond of sleep as well....I can get up and get myself going if I need but if I have a chance to take a nap and an tired enough I will surely take that chance. There are so many times even when I am tired enough to sleep during the night that I am constantly thinking about things that I have going on for the next day or more that it makes it harder for me to sleep. Thanks for your response.

I am usually up before dawn so I am pretty tired in the evenings and I tend to fall asleep while we are still watching TV therefore I am the one that will go to bed first most of the time. Whenever I have stayed up to watch the end of a movie or something he doesn’t mind at all, if he is tired he will go to sleep and does not expect me to follow him and I am the same.

I wish I could wake up real early more often than I do...I wake up at 7 am to get my kids up and ready for bed and there are many days where I will stay awake that whole day but there are also just as many other days when I end up falling back asleep or taking a nap for that day. In the winter time I always seem to sleep in a lot more or get more tired during the day. Thanks for your response.

On the weekends he is usually the one that stays up late sometimes till 4 or 5 in the morning. There are times on the weekends that I am up late to but I think that is part of the reason too that I am up late during the week. I need to get my sleeping schedule fixed because I want to sleep during the day and stay up late...Thanks for your response.

As it is 1.17am as I type, I guess you could say I stay up! I am pretty nocturnal and my husband is used to it by now. Before I was married I was doing drama training where I was often in rehearsals till all hours, I also worked as a dresser in a theatre doing shows in the evenings, and then later I was performing evenings. I am not working now but I guess I still keep the hours! I also think its a natural tendency for me too, so I'm stuck with it really. I have been able to change it when I have had to do other jobs - for example I worked in a coffee shop and had to open at 5.30am every day, so I had to train myself to go to bed early and get up but it does NOT come naturally...I will never be a morning person! My husband doesn't mind, he is normally asleep by the time I get there but he has to get up at 5.30 and get a train to work, so he needs to.

For the most part my husband and I go to bed anywhere from 12:30am to 1:30am all though we will say we need to go to bed earlier it never works out that way, the latest I stay up on the days that he goes to bed is maybe around 3 or 4 and still get up at 7 to get the kids off to school but then I normally take an hour nap during the day...my husband has always told me that I would be best as a night person because even if I go to bed early I am still not a morning person. Thanks for your response.
