As we grow up the life style of ours changes and we become busy with our lives......Does parents feel that we are neglecting them and not showing much interest towards them as before.....does any silly quarrels come in between? If so how do you tackle?

My Mom passed away 5 years ago. I use to fight with my Mom a lot, especially after I had my own children but the last time I was with her we made up and I left feeling good (I live in Japan but am from the UK). When we left my parents home I knew it would be the last time I would see my Mom alive, she had late stage cancer. I was glad that we had a chance to talk things out, to see that our quarrels were not really that big, that we could be mother and daughter again!!
I still love my Mom and miss her very much, but that just pushes me to be a better Mom to my kids!

It's exactly true that generation gap makes a lot...between parents and kids....what i feel is we being mothers we have seen this and came to know about these problems we get because of generation gap....as we have experienced let us not repeat in our children s issue....let us try to understand thinking and staying in there place and be good moms until we close our eyes permanently.........thank u.....buddy....really happy to share my feelings with u.....

Yes you have said it right. We tend to be busy in our own life and there are only few instances where we can be with our parents. I think that sometimes, parents do think that we are neglecting them and they have something against us but cannot really express themselves. I hope that we can show more love to our parents even if we are not that much close anymore.
