have you experience it that when someone ask you a question and you just keep silent because if you voice out your own opinion, it might hurt her feelings? and they assume that your silence means yes to them and that you are agreeing to what they say?

No. it doesn't always mean that silence means yes. There are times when we become silent because we do not want to offend somebody with our NO answer, or we are unsure of what answer to give. There are many reasons why people don't answer when asked.

in my own perspective, silence doesn't always mean yes, sometimes you keep silent because you don't want arguments or discussions, or sometimes you just don't like to hurt other people's feelings.we keep silent because we don't want to utter words which could hurt others especially when we're in the middle of discussions.

Sometimes there are questions put by someone to us, make us suddenly didn't know about what the answer should we give. Perhaps because the question put to us confused, seem strange or even offensive to us. I have several times experienced problems like that, and to me better to be silent, or to ask again about the intent of the question.

Silence means many things its either Yes or No.. also means GUILTY!
In a relationship Silence would only end up to misunderstanding so if possible avoid it... i hate very silent type persons you don't know what they are thinking... .
