A Stranger Approaches and Says "I LOVE YOU!". What would you do?

Of course it would depend on the situation. But as I am 64, I have come to appreciate those words so I would say thank you. I also say that to all those nice people that say I don´t look my age or to my grandchildren when they say I´m cool. Compliments are nice. Happy posting!

i would be surpise, but i went to my brother church once and this big dude walked up to me and was like even though i dont know you i love you. i looked at him and was well thank you, i love everyone but i just hope your not gay and telling me this. lol

i would may the same thing like give back those words. ha ha. have you experienced this thing. but i think rarely will we get this kind of line from other people. not unless they are joking.

I will respond in a friendly manner ---Hi, are you talking to me? Did i hear you right, you love me? well, thank you but i am sorry i don't know you. Thanks-- then leave him.

Well,if this kind of situation happens on me,maybe i'll be terrified and try to ignoring him.I have certain experience simitaneous to this ,i always try not to offenced by.

If a stranger did that to me I would NOT say "I love you" back because I dont know the person..For all I'd know he or she could be some nutcase and responding like that could open up a very dangerous door..One that I'm not wanting open...AND truth would be I dont love the person.. I dont know them so how could I..I dont toss out that phrase lightly becuase in my eyes it SHOULDNT be used casually like that...What I WOULD do however is smile and say thank you but thats about it..

I would definitely say I love you too and then proceed to thank the stranger for loving me. If all people would just have courage or take time to spread love, i guess this world would be a better place.

'LOVE' is a universal word and if everyone can spread love to everyone else, this world would be a peaceful world. They won't be war in the troubled lands. If someone were to say I love you then give her your appreciative gesture and reply exactly what she said to you.

If a stranger approaches me and says "I LOVE YOU", my reactions would vary. If it's someone years younger than me, I would go "huh? what are you up to kid?." If it's a cute, hot and sexy babe, I would stay silent first, wink with my right eye and reply "YOU SURE DO!", If it's a very old woman, I would go "thanks!", If it's another guy, I would go "ahhhhh.... what did you say!?" (LOL) So it really depends on who the stranger is. Ah well that's my opinion right there.

Lol. I just remembered a Spongebob episode where Patrick star said I love you to a total stranger because he wanted to sell chocolates to that stranger. Anyway, It depends, I would probably just say Thank you but wont elaborate the reason why I replied that unless needed or I would not say anything and just shrug the whole thing off because my mama always said that I should not talk to strangers. lol.

if a stranger approaches me and said "I LOVE YOU", i will say I LOVE YOU too, because you don't just give love to your parents and relatives, siblings, friends but also to strangers. Love is free so, give it away. who knows, he is also giving his love for free..haha

Seriously i hope that happen to me. It depend. If she cute i will said i love u too. Nah it not going happen. It too lol if that happen to me.

I would thank the stranger, but i would not say to her/him that i love you,..I believe the word is very formal and seriously..i would not easily to say i love you to a stranger, just because he/she say the word without any reasons.

Well, May be she is a stanger for me, but I am sure , I may not be a stranger for her to dare and say ..I love You ..So what I will do is..At first, ask, her If she Knew me..and How she finds me a lovable..and did not hesitate to confirm her feelings...AND, if I get satisfied...I may accpet her ( as by this time, she is no more stranger to me )otherwise reject her aswell.. And, in case, I am a stranger for her too and she just said..I love You..then either she is just mad or doing this to win some bet or so..and, my reply will toatly depend on situation at that time...I may too say ..I love you too dear or otherwise.
