I don't know if the lady in the picture is eating a carrot haha. But personally, I eat lots of raw carrots, especially when I was small. My mother prepares lots of it in our refriferator, and it often serves as midnight snack haha, Or just something to chew or munch when bored. I love the taste and crunchiness, but I don't like carrot juice and carrot cake, I just like the raw carrot, I don't even like it when its cooked or steamed. Just plain raw, that will do haha.

I think in the picture the woman is eating a strawberry or at least that is what it looks like to me lol,and I like carrots because they are really tasty, and I like them dipped in ranch dressing, and my mother usually buys baby carrots for vegetable trays especially at Christmas Time, and I used to like to eat on a long raw carrot and say Whatsup Doc just like Bugs Bunny because he is very funny, and he is one of my favorite Looney Toons characters, and I will not drink carrot juice,or eat carrot cake, and I will not eat steamed or cooked carrots,so the only carrots I will eat are raw,and that goes for most vegetables as well.

Hi kafueenu,
Carrots are always good to eat in raw form. It is an excellent source of Vitamin A. I like to eat carrot in raw form. Carrots are available in abundance in winter season. Like you I too don’t like carrot halwa or juice. If it added in curry then can eat but don’t much like it. My kids too like to carrot in raw form. I like the red one than orange colour.

Ditto!! Finally, someone who shares my love for raw carrots, and my dislike for cooked ones. Hahahaha. People never understood why I can't eat the cooked one when I love the raw version. hehehe. I like raw carrots because it taste good, I like the crunch, and I like that it's kinda refreshing. I don't like the cooked one, cause I don't like the texture it leaves on my mouth, and the taste is also different. Hehehe. I remember when we were kids, my dad always tells us to eat carrots for beta-carotene.. because our family has a history of cancer, and it's supposed to lower the risk of it.

I have never really like raw carrots that much. I know there is more vitamin value in raw carrots than cooked ones. I do like carrots. I just prefer to eat them cooked. I like to mash them down on my plate with a little butter, salt and pepper. Very tasty.

I like raw carrot. Earlier no time to eat. It was a running race for me. Now I have sugar, I am diabetic. So carrot is not good for me. I can take in small quantities which I take in the form of food.

I like eating carrots in raw and sometimes I dip it in vinegar with salt or sometimes just salt. I also eat cabbage and some string beans (thailand) in raw and had tried the banana flower in raw as well. But cabbage is better than the string beans and banana flower :).
If the carrot was cooked, I don't eat it unless it's half-cooked only.
Hao!

Hi kafueenu!
I like eating raw carrots too. I think it's more nutritious that way. But I still eat them even if they are cooked or steamed
There are different kinds of carrots, and I can say that the local carrots taste different, and I think they're unpalatable when they are not cooked. So as much as possible, I like buying a different variety, one that's not from our province, but in another part of the country. I also like baby carrots!

Honestly, carrots are one of the vegetables that I hate. I don't really like to eat a whole carrot, I feel sick after eating one. But I do enjoy eating a small, chopped carrots like in a salad. That I would love to eat. Maybe it's the size. I can't tolerate eating a big carrot. But if it's chopped into tinier pieces with other vegetables in it, I would enjoy eating it.

How could you like raw carrots so much? Maybe you're just fond of Bugs Bunny when you're just a kid. lol Anyway, my son has an affinity for eating carrots, be it raw or cooked. I encourage him to eat it since it's a much healthy choice than junk foods. Bon apetite!

I eat carrots raw! But not many. I prefer to have them roasted in the oven like they were potatoes, I love the sweet-salty flavor.
And I am not mad about carrot cake either, but carrot puree yes!

We do eat carrots raw here. Especially the baby carrots either plain or dipped in dressing for a snack. The regular ones are ok too, but seem to be better for cooking in my opinion.

I use to eat carrots raw a lot when I was younger and pretend I was Bugs Bunny and say "What's up, Doc?" =P I love eating carrots raw and cooked. Lately though, I haven't been eating as many raw carrots as I use to because we use it as part of ours meals so I can't always eat a whole carrot. We use to buy the baby carrots too but we haven't been buying them lately. I don't think I've ever tried carrot juice or carrot cake, but I definitely love raw carrots =D
