before, we don't run out of newspapers at home. i remembered i always have them since i am a writer before in our school paper. i feel the need to have them since i gather data for my articles. i have interviewed the newspapers vendors and i just knew that their sales declined due to the fact that internet access is already readily available. how about you? are you still buying them?

reading news papers cheaper than the News in da Net. But the News in the net is more custermize than the reguler news papers such as we can chanhge the language in News in th net. But News in the Net can cause some damage to Eye it can avoide by reguler news papers. So my opinion is to Use News papers rather than the News in the net so you can save youre eye.

i agree with you. long hours of exposure to computer can damage one's eyes especially when the light is very heavy. unlike when reading the news in the newspapers, we can always find time to relax and go over the pages again. when you have log in to the net, you get to have patronize everything because you;re conscious of your bill and electricity.

With the help of news papers, we can access the day today news wherever we want, like while travelling, in the bathrooms and toilets, whereas net news dont have such advantages, and they are very brief, but news papers flash news in detail. I prefer news paper, secondly the used news papers can be recycled/used/sold.

that's absolutely true. People will read the newspaper to get the total information that is happening in the world.Even though the technology has developed lot with the implement of television and internet peoples have got the habit of reading newspaper in the early morning after from the bed. Exposure to the news is not limited; readers can go back to the messages again and again if so desired. you're right too in terms of recycling these papers.

you have a point there. the other advantage is that we can have the hard copy on these pages. we can always look back and read. i also love to look at the entertainment part of the papers. im also fond of answering the crossword puzzles.

Though my husband checks the news on the net, I prefer the newspaper. Husband reads the newspaper...checks the news on television AND checks the news on the net. I prefer the newspaper and that's what I'm going to stick to...lol. We still buy a newspaper everyday.

Yes I still do. I am still much satisfied in reading the daily newspaper. It's because somehow some little bits of the newspapers are not really posted in the net (well atleast in the case of my newspaper).

Yes, we do buy newspaper daily. I am from Sri Lanka. I don't read much news on papers. But my dad buys the daily news(Tamil language) daily... Mum reads the paper daily and tell me all the important news... On Sunday's we buy both the English n Tamil news paper... I read only the English paper as I don't understand Tamil much.. I just go through the pics on Tamil Paper... On net, I don't read daily.. If any News titles is catchy Ion yahoo home page, I read it...

I used to have a habit of reading newspapers. But now, with the development of the Internet, I often gain information via the Internet. Yes, I believe that most people here will choose the news on the Internet instead of reading newspapers. Compared with newspapers, we can gain the latest news with a high speed. At the same time, we don't need any moeny for the news online while we have paid for the newspapers. So, it is ovbiously that sales of newspapers would decline due to the fact that internet access is already readily available. In my opinion, it is unnecessary completely to buy the newspapers.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, i am quite interesting in reading daily newspaper, whenever i wake up in the morning, initially i need newspaper, even after when i am spending my 10-12 hours of time over internet, but reading newspaper with a cup of tea would be the ultimate option for me and anybody else, either in some cases when i need news specially in case of urgency, i switch to the internet for getting latest updates, everyday i read news over internet, but definitely i would prefer newspapers daily and magazines, because where i felt more comfortable and easyness than internet

I still read the newspapers instead of the news on the net. Although I do beleive that the news online can be more diverse and you can find specificlaly what you are looking for, the newspapers are not without their charm. There should be something done about it though because of the waste of paper.

I'm getting more of my news from the Internet and television than I get from reading the print versions of newspapers. This is difficult to admit because I retired from a career in newspaper journalism. I now only subscribe to the Sunday paper. That's mainly because I'm trying to cut down on paper clutter. However, I do read various newspapers online. That's the future of newspapers and they'll be better off once they learn how to make as much money with online newspapers and can make the transition.

I always read the free newspapers you can pick up in the stations. They're not the best source of news, but they're free. When I prefer to read more news or a better source I read online newspapers, as they're free too.
