How to setup voice recognisation software

I found a voice recognisation software but I do not how to use that. Can anyone help me out?

May I know which software are you talking about? Though the settings varies on different software but the basics are same in all of them. You need to train them a lot before you get the best result. Another important thing is the quality of your microphone. If your microphone catches a lot of outside noises, then it may not give you expected results. A typical Voice recognition software may include these steps 1) Setting up your microphone 2) Teaching yourself how to talk to your computer 3) Provide training to your computer to recognize your speech After that you should be able to dictate text to your computer directly in any word processing software like WordPad. it's bundled with windows xp. The tried the steps you advised but result is not satisfied. I tried different microphones. It is working but there is a noise in output. besides windows is taking long time to response.

a voice recognition software is a type of software which "types as you dictate". so this generally means you have to train the software so that it understands your accent well enough. a popular vrs is Dragons Naturally Speaking you can also try voice to text but its no match to DNS For more info, go through the manual of your software
