What is the Purpose of Discussion?
Hello Lotters,
Just one of few i that i would like to open-up. I know there's a lot of Purpose regarding on what is the reason why we make discussions here and there almost every day.

* Some prefer to inquire or asked a lot of questions.
* others, prefer to get views from others from a certain issue or situation.
* many, rants about either here on mylot or some specific problem that he/she
had lately.
* few, talks about something off the wall and get's away with it.
* Most would want to get as many responses as possible and then comment on them and "earn the pay out, then moving on" [/b]
Which one of these do you think is/was your purpose of making a discussion.
I've been thinking, can you make a discussion..To Save the World..you know all things would come to an end, and i know that there will come a time when we are called to do it..well, I am for the moment. would you consider that as worthy to make it worth discussion, even if it's just idea...other do pick up ideas and make it real, they might even thank you for it..

It's how you answer it, that counts. frankly, if you don't understand, you don't have to respond to it. or simply just answer the first question and then tell me why, if you bring out more questions i don't think i can't answer them anymore.the question is for those who would respond. I was merely asking and not saying "save the world" what can be more complicated than just..simply share it.@mysdianait (66009)

I usually do not start a lot of discussions but lately I have started a few and I think for me the reason I start discussions is one so I can ask questions of other mylotters so I can find out new things or new information,while also sharing my opinions or my ideas which is a good way to also learn new things,and sometimes I like to start discussions about things that are off the wall and random,which I got randomness from my wife and it is not that bad,and sometimes it helps with the creative process to to talk about things that are off the wall,and might not make sense to other people.

Lol I know what you mean sometimes I feel like I am in a another world when I start some of my discussions,I hoe you start a lot of discussions and happy mylotting.

HELLO cowboy, unfortunately i haven't been starting some topics myself. i have started a few but i dunno which world i was in when i created this discussion, but now i think am back to normal,. i also like to share my opinions and ideas to the mylot users, it's cool that i get to learn a lot from other people here. but some believed that discussions here are limited, but for me, this place is good enough1 person likes this

I used to start discussions for earning, asking etc but lately have been doing so for only one reason: to check whether I get replies from my 'friends' or not. Well, they are not my friends officially, so nothing matters..
Now if my answer has become as confusing as your post here
then... yes we can start that discussion if it's not already copied multiple times. My personal idea is the world will come to an end after I get too old to hold it on my back, and I'm still young. A careless attitude, I see...

hello hora, that's a nice response, i don't think yours is confusing at all but mine got a little twist. i guess it's better for me too die old rather than witness the end, sometimes those who are good and die early are the ones who are lucky and a few of those who had reach that time are probably in such a bad luck.

gee i dont think i could ever think of a discussion all here would read and respond to that would save the world are you serious? can you do it? power to you my friend. i do make many discussions and respond to many for ALL the reasons you've mentioned except to save the world because i dont think im that smart as to think of a way to save the world

hello bunny bon, well, am not talking about recent discussions about how to save the world but create one that could save the world, i think well, it ain't bad if you think about it. i mean, that's probably the reason why i made the topic in the first placebut i guess most people are not prepared for it, simply just to earn money..like me

I think most of my discussions cover a bit of everything. I don't believe that we should just stick with asking question's. Or just stick with an off the wall discussion. Which so far I haven't done yet.
As for me saving the world I am not sure if I could write a discussion about way's to save the world. I have a strange feeling if the world was coming to an end and you told folks they wouldn't listen anyways.

hello i agree except to the ones that are not truly accepted due to mylot rules and it's regulations.to be honest a lot have done it and it's not that entertaining to them either. well, old folks will die soon but i hope it ain't too late for nature to get it fixed
