I am sometimes good at humour so i never let any one among my friends make me follow and instead i behave in a certain manner that every one loves to follow me !
But its very hard to be a leader of your group , very hard to get there and even harder to stick there !
Any way enough about me , what are you ? or never did you bothered ?

I don't want to be a leader but looking up on my circle of friends, they tend to rely on me more. They usually follow me in everything I want or wish. They want me to be their voice in some instances. So I guess I'm the leader among my closest friends. But I don't consider them as my subordinates. I treat them equally. I'm just glad they're listening to me and value my opinion so much.

Hi Mdaazam,
My friends look at me as a leader. They've been used to me being an initiator and innovative enough to make any project or event successful. But i am a good follower too, a good team player. I always give my best in everything i do --as a leader and more so as a follower.

I really worked hard for this. What and where i am now is a product of hard work. Nothing is impossible as long as you believe in yourself, live what you preach and stand for what is good.

Me and my wife have only a few friends that we hang out with now since most of our friends were jerks, and when we hang out with them I would say I am normally a follower because I will just stand back and let others decide things like what to do or where to go,but sometimes I will be a leader especially if I have a good idea for something to do or if no one wants to be the leader, and when I was younger I was always a follower I always stayed back in the crowd, and I always let my friends tell me what we were going to do because I did not like making decisions because I was afraid someone would tell me my ideas were stupid,or that no one would listen to me,I still am sometimes but not as bad especially since my wife makes me feel better about myself.

Yeah I am very lucky, and you are very welcome, and I like sharing my thoughts and opinions with other people, and I also like hearing other peoples thoughts and opinions because it allows me to broaden my mind to new ways of thinking.

I think of myself as more of a leader, but among my intimate group of friends, I consider myself the "wild child." As most have children and families, I don't, so my activities are considered a bit strange and a topic of conversation.

I hate being a leader, To many responsibility. But i also hate when someone bossing around. I like to do everythings on my own way alone. Not that i don't need a friends. It's just... when things come to a group, and i must do some work with them, i usualy broke out and do the job alone. It hapend many times when I was still at school. But sometimes, when my leader is a good one, i can go with the flow and it work well.

Oh that sounds that you are never gonna tolerate a leader in your group nor will you become one. Sounds like you avoid a lot of crowd , dont you ?
Well as for me , i have loved to be a leader from the very beginning !
I can never tolerate a boss around me ... but i wont let any one be a leader except me , i feel like i am the one who is best at making decisions of the group !
Thanks for your response mate and have great day !

It all depends on the friend. I prefer and give and take situation. It would be nice to have a mutual relationship. No leader, and no follower.

Yeah mate that sounds very peaceful to me too but actually whenever i try to go for a mutual one the other one thinks of it as a chance of becoming the leader so i have to shoot him back down :) its me or noone lol !
I just hope none of my friends read this or it wont be really peaceful !

Well, among my friends neither of us are called 'leader'. There isn't always the same person who 'leads', I could say we are all equal in this position. Sometimes someone leads, then the next the other leads, it depends on who has a better idea for an activity.
I think having someone 'lead' all the time isn't healthy. There should be a time when you lead, and there should be a time when you should learn to follow.

I tend to be a leader and I really don't like it, sometimes I would much rather be a follower. I get tired of being the one everyone looks to for decisions about what we're doing or where we're going - I am so sick of people asking me 'what's the plan?' Sometimes it's nice to have the final say in where we eat and things like that but most of the time I would much rather people just tell ME what to do!

Oh really !
I think it well said by someone(that would be me i guess) that We never appreciate what we have and demand the opposite . I think you should be happy that its you among youre friends who decide the plan but you are right if you think that it needs a lot of efforts too .
Thanks for your response and i seek to talk to you again .
Cheerz !!!

In our group we all have a special bond and thinking which means we don't have a fixed leader and so we are more flexible like that way. Depending on the situation we have a leader who is more experienced in that matter. We make decisions together rather than enforcing them on someone else.

You know, I never bothered with worrying about who was the leader or follower. I pretty much always did my own thing. In school that made me kind of a loner, and sometimes that is a lonely place to be, like being on the outside looking in. But after school I found that sometimes it makes me the leader, and surprises me that people are following.

I'm not sure that I am either really, I kind of follow my own way and if that is with someone else, or if someone else follows me, then so be it. You would have to ask my friends if they see me as one or the other I suppose.
I think my 'label' in my group is the funny one, and the arty one. I guess thats a role in itself which is neither follower or leader.

My chineese horoscope states that I have a leader personality, I find that it is generally true, unless I am hanging out with other people my age. Then it is just as easy to let them make the decisions. I find that I am ready to step in and lead if it is necessary, but would just as soon not. I dont strive to be the leader.

I can't exactly say that I am a leader or follower among my friend, maybe sometimes be a leader and sometimes be a follower...it will depend the games that we play...if you are good at this game, you will be leader...but I surely believe that somebody really borned with leader, they know how organize your team building even in the first begining....I am not the people like this I think,,,so in the most of time, I will be a follower...thanks and happy mylotting

Hi shajerrl !
Of course you sure are right about the born leaders !
I have seen some being always the leader among their friends but i wasnt one of such , i used to be a hell of a follower and a lot times a stuff to make fun of ,
but now somehow i have flipped the tables and no matter the size of the group every thinks twice before speaking up as no one would now from where will i strike them and have them surrounded by laughs

Among my friends and family both, I have always been a leader. i was never one to follow the crowd. If you show that you are in control of a situation and know what to do, people will generally follow you. That is the way that it happens with me anyway. It doesn't bother me to be a leader in some situations, but it is not a job that I seek out.

Is very hard to be a leader among your friends, I think that no one should be a leader or a follower just a friend.

i think that there too is a lot of politics in friendship. You may be unaware but there always is a leader and some get to be the follower.

Hi mashiuwsan !
I totally agree with you , there always this politic element in friendship as you said . People tend to less likely notice that there is a leader among themselves and they just move like a herd most of the times as i noticed , doing what other does !
Thanks a lot bro for responding !
